Fans of cosy adventures in Moominvalley have more to look forward to this autumn. Developer Hyper Games, known for Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley and Mørkredd, has announced that Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, 2026. Physical Editions and Collector’s Edition
Alongside the Switch 2 release, physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, published by iam8bit, will also arrive on September 18.
Collectors can look forward to a special Collector’s Edition on both platforms, launching on October 16. It includes:
- Digital soundtrack
- 172-page artbook
- Keychain
- Tote bag
- Two sticker sheets
- Two enamel pins
Wholesome Games Celebration Discounts
Both Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth and Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley are currently discounted as part of the Wholesome Games Celebration running from August 6 to August 13.

Players can also purchase a bundle containing either the base games or deluxe editions with a 30% discount.

The artwork is beautiful, and the script was very funny in places. There are some scenes which were scarier and sadder than I was expecting, and the ending was a little prolonged, but overall a wonderful adventure.”
