‘Partner Spotlight Sale’: Favourites with Guides
We’ve highlighted the best games for under a fiver, but what else is on sale in the ‘Partner Spotlight Sale’ and ‘Save & Play’ sale? Here are some of our favourite games, and whilst they might not have all scored our highest rating, we enjoyed them so much, we wrote a beginners guide, walk through or tips & tricks article, so you could get the most from the game.
Don’t forget some of the games mentioned in our April 2025 eShop Sale are still on sale.
A Tiny Sticker Tale
A Tiny Sticker Tale is a cozy miniature adventure about changing the world, using the power of stickers!
There was no gooey mess with these stickers, and I gave it our highest rating:
A Tiny Sticker Tale is one of the most adorable games I’ve played this year. The graphics are bold and colourful, removing and placing stickers is good fun, and the quests are satisfying.
Designed to be a short adventure, A Tiny Sticker Tale packs a lot in and definitely a game to get stuck into!

Botany Manor
Botany Manor is a first-person puzzle game set in a Victorian English manor.
Botany Manor came up smelling of roses, when I reviewed it.
There is no denying that Botany Manor transports you to a bygone era. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time digging around to find the growing conditions of the forgotten flora, ensuring my herbarium blossomed in completeness and unearthing Arabella Greene’s life.

Disney Dreamlight Valley
Explore a world filled with the magic of Disney as you discover rich stories and build the perfect neighborhood alongside Disney and Pixar heroes and villains.
Yvonne went all dreamy in reviewing Disney Dreamlight Valley:
At first, I felt a little overwhelmed by all that Disney Dreamlight Valley had to offer. There is just so much to collect, so many things to do and so many tasks and quests. Added to that, Gameloft is sprinkling treasure chests into the game daily and sends mail containing all kinds of goodies.
By now, I’m wholly committed to the game, and loving my time with all the familiar characters. The only reason I’m not giving it a Two Thumbs Up at this time is because of the bugs and other things that need adjusting. But, after all, that’s why it’s an Early Access version.
And to help you make sense of all that Disney sparkle, we’ve got some top tips.
There are various editions, so check which is best value for you.

Grow: Song of Evertree
Grow Your Own Worlds!
Grow: Song of the Evertree was sweet music to Paula:
Grow: Song of the Evertree is a sweet and wholesome game. As I’ve previously mentioned it wouldn’t be a game suited to all. But if you like helping people, making them happy, collecting resources and exploring a beautiful world then Grow: Song of the Evertree would be a game for you. Also if you have played Prideful Sloths previous game Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles you will feel right at home in the world of Alaria.

Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world introduced in the Harry Potter books. Explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be.
Hogwarts Legacy cast a spell on Paula.
Overall, if you are a keen fan of the Harry Potter universe, you will likely enjoy Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch. What I like the most is walking around Hogwarts, watching students and seeing the talking, moving pictures and bumping into ghosts. As you pass by, some NPCs will throw a couple of phrases in your direction or play a piece of music; this makes the world feel alive.
It’s a huge world with more to offer as you go. It also shows how much effort, dedication and passion Avalanche Software put into the game. Hogwarts Legacy is a labour of love in every detail.

Ooblets
Collect, grow, and dance with your new best friends in Ooblets!
Yvonne got dancing with her Ooblets
Ooblets is fun to play. The sim elements of dance battles, farming, crafting and questing are combined in a nice way. I love games with lots of questing and tasks, and it didn’t bother me that the story is thin. It kept my interest due to the things added along the way. I have some minor niggles: the info text in the inventory is annoyingly over the rest of the items in stock. Switching back and forth to the farm field view doesn’t feel very effective.
Still, this is a game I can easily sink in many hours of gameplay. The fact that it’s cute and colourful, and has an uplifting beat will make sure that I won’t even regret the hours spent with my Ooblets.
Make sure you get the right dance moves, and check out our beginner’s guide.

Wytchwood
Lovingly rendered storybook art style Gather, collect, grow and craft bizarre ingredients Research and concoct devious spells and sorceries.
Wytchwood featured in both Paula and Mina’s Best Games of 2021.
If crafting, exploring and lots of humour are what you look for in a game, then Wytchwood is the game for you. I’ve certainly enjoyed my playthrough of the game. The story is interesting, the characters are cutesy, dark, and grotesque with humour sprinkled in for good measure and fantastic graphics to top it all off. Wytchwood is definitely one of my games of the year and it receives our highest score.
