Pokémon Pokopia is getting a glittering new guest, and it’s one with a serious appetite for gemstones.
Sableye arrives as the star of the Sableye’s Gem Hunt event, running April 29, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. through May 14, 2026 at 4:59 a.m. (local time), bringing a mix of exploration, collection, and themed rewards to towns with a rebuilt Pokémon Center.
A Mischievous New Friend Appears
During the event, Sableye will begin appearing near rebuilt Pokémon Centers. Befriending it unlocks a special request: collect red crystal fragments scattered across Dream Islands. These fragments are the key to earning exclusive event items, from furniture to building kits.
How to Join the Gem Hunt:
- Summon Drifloon by interacting with any doll in town.
- Travel to a Dream Island, where red crystal fragments are hidden across the landscape.
- Gather as many fragments as you can before returning home.
- Exchange your haul with Sableye at the Pokémon Center for themed rewards.
Once the event wraps, Sableye won’t disappear, it will stay in your town as a permanent friend, adding a bit of sparkle to your daily routine.
