Poll Vita game of the year 2017

A couple of days ago the vote for LadiesGamers game of the year kicked off with a poll for the best Mobile game to play on your smartphone. Now, it’s time to look at the best PS Vita game of 2017.

It’s a good thing the developers that love churning out a good RPG have found their go to device in the Vita. Otherwise I’m afraid the device would be quite dead. As it is now though, the PS Vita has a great collection of JRPG and the fans to back it up.

I’m very fond of my little handheld, love the way it looks and handles. At the beginning of 2017 I played Dragon Quest Builders on it, my game of the year 2016. I enjoyed Root Letter on it, a good puzzler/ visual novel that was my Game of the Month January ( find my thoughts on the game here).

As soon as Atelier Firis and the Mysterious Journey was released, I couldn’t wait to download it. Loved that as I love al my Atelier games, and made a review for it.

Still, ever since I got my Switch last May the Vita has been lonely!

But, for now, let’s honor the Vita once more by choosing a best Vita game of the year!

  1. There isn’t any for me this year. but out of all the above, I choose Tokyo Xanadu. I played the JP version. It’s a little like Legend of Heroes ( the dungeon part ) iirc. Really hate Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana for the control on vita. Not too sure how it play out on PS4 thou ( want to like it but can’t, they are fixing the game, I heard, hope it will be playable ). Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed more fun than the new one. Have not touch Root Letter yet, not in the mood for VN lately.

  2. From the Vita games I completed this year my faves were Danganronpa V3 and Chaos;Child. Tokyo Xanadu is pretty good too. Maybe I should have waited for the enhanced PS4 version though, as I haven’t finished it.
