With this update, you can now build vertically with multi-level platforms, giving you much more freedom in designing complex factory layouts. The train system has also been completely revamped, featuring smarter stations, customisable unloaders, and even new train colours. Logistics tools are now smarter too, and belts can carry four times more items, speeding up your production lines.
Other highlights include new platform layouts, a handy shape search tool, overflow splitters for better resource management, and a range of quality-of-life improvements like categorized shops and better wire visualisation.
shapez 2 is currently 30% off on Steam until June 10. And when Paula checked out the game when it had just landed in Early Access, she already felt the game is already shaping up (yep, that’s a pun) to be more than a worthy successor to the original!
