Release Date Tales of the Shire

We have a new release date for Weta Workshop’s Tales of the Shire. It will be released on March 25th, 2025, on the Switch, Steam, PS5, and Xbox X|S.

Green Tick for Regency Solitaire II

Regency Solitaire II has received a new update on Steam for Windows/PC, adding multi-language support. You can now enjoy the game in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese, all accessible through the in-game options menu.

Additionally, Grey Alien Games announced that Regency Solitaire II has earned Steam’s “green tick” of approval, meaning it’s fully optimized for the Steam Deck.

Publisher Sale Whitethorn Games

Whitethorn Games is celebrating its birthday with its first-ever Steam Publisher Sale! From today until October 7th, you can enjoy live streams, try out demos of upcoming games, and score major discounts on Whitethorn’s lineup of inclusive, accessible, and laid-back indie titles. Whitethorn has demos up for the highly anticipated Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island and Slime Heroes, as well as recent releases like Botany Manor and Magical Delicacy. You’ll also find Whitethorn favourites such as AGROUND, APICO, Evan’s Remains, Lake, Princess Farmer and RE: Call at their lowest prices ever on Steam.

DLC The Wider World of Atari 50

Atari and Digital Eclipse launched the first major DLC for Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, titled The Wider World of Atari. This exciting addition brings 19 playable games and eight video segments, all within a brand-new timeline. The DLC dives deeper into Atari’s rich history, showcasing how the iconic company has inspired creators and fans alike over the years. If you’re a fan of retro gaming or Atari’s legacy like James is, this DLC should be fun. The DLC will also be priced at $7.99 US, so it’s quite a good deal for people who already own the base game.

Release Date Two Point Museum

We love our Two Point games, so it’s exciting to read that a new one is coming! Two Point Museum, a new management sim where you can take on the role of a museum creator, now has a release date of March 4th, 2025.  In this exciting game, you’ll manage and display a variety of spectacular exhibits, sending experts on expeditions to uncover rare artefacts and decorating dinosaur bones to create an unforgettable museum experience. Two Point Museum will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox X/S, and there is a special Explorer Edition and a Sonic pre-order pack available.

Fae Farm Coming to Other Consoles

Fae Farm, the cosy farming sim from Phoenix Labs, is set to launch on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X│S, Xbox One, and the Windows Store on October 22nd, 2024. At launch, you can choose between the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition, with two DLC packs—Coasts of Croakia and Skies of Azoria—available as well.

In Fae Farm, you’ll be able to dive into a customizable adventure, tending to your farm, caring for animals, and forging friendships with the residents of Azoria. Explore different environments, gather resources, decorate your homestead, and uncover the magical secrets needed to restore the land’s beauty. Big Sale at Koei Tecmo

It doesn’t happen often, but if you have been waiting to try one of the Atelier games, now’s your chance. Koei Tecmo has a sale going on until 9th October 2024 on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PC Steam. This means all Atelier Ryza games are discounted, and most others too, like the games from the Dusk Trilogie, from the Mysterious Trilogy and more.

Other than the Atelier game, loads of other familiar titles are discounted too, like Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Blue Reflection. Really too many to mention. Steam has a nice overview from all sales, check your own console versions to see if the discount is the same.

Legend of Kain Remastered

Something that brought back happy memories for Paula, which is why we present this news to you: Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have announced Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered, a collection featuring remastered versions of the classic action-adventure games Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2. The collection will include higher-resolution textures, enhanced models, VFX, a new photo mode, upgraded camera and control options, and improved performance.

Set to launch on December 10th, 2024, the collection will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam for $29.99. Pre-orders are now open on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, with a 10% discount for PlayStation Plus and PC players until release. Nintendo Switch pre-orders will be available soon.

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Soul Reaver by exploring the atmospheric world of Nosgoth in stunning new detail. Plus, you can switch between the games’ original and remastered visuals and choose between a modern or classic control scheme.

Wholesome Hidden Object Game Hidden in My Paradise

Hidden in My Paradise, a cosy hidden-object game developed by Ogre Pixel and published by Crunchyroll, is set to launch on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024. You’ll be able to enjoy this charming game on Nintendo Switch, Steam (PC, Mac, and Steam Deck), iOS, and Android. Pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop begin on October 2nd.

In Hidden in My Paradise, you’ll join photographer Laly and her fairy friend Coronya on their adventure across vibrant lands, uncovering hidden treasures and snapping the perfect pictures. You’ll interact with lively scenes, moving objects and animals around to complete your Snap missions and decorate adorable paradises.

The game also features a Level Editor where you can create your own paradises and share them with friends. With over 900 objects to collect, Hidden in My Paradise offers endless cosy fun. It’s priced at $9.99 USD with no microtransactions and supports several languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese, and more.

Halloween DLC and Update Paleo Pines

Two Halloween-themed DLC packs and a limited-edition plushie are on the way for Paleo Pines, perfect for celebrating the season. The DLCs are available now for just $3.99 each on Steam, Switch, Playstation, and Xbox. Along with the DLCs, a free update will roll out, bringing Halloween cheer to everyone in Paleo Pines, alongside bug fixes and improvements for an even better ranching experience.

The Trick or Treat DLC invites you on a new nighttime adventure. Explore Paleo Pines after dark, collect treats from your friendly neighbours, and uncover the mischief of a mysterious trickster! Critter Cafe Release Date

Critter Cafe has a release date: it will be opening its doors on 26th November 2024 on PC and Nintendo Switch!

When a mysterious portal reveals a long-lost Critters, it’s up to you to rescue each unique Critter and create a welcoming café for both townsfolk and Critters. You explore the world to find rifts that open portals to other dimensions, guiding lost Critters to safety and welcoming them into your café. As you strengthen your bonds with these Critters, more portals will naturally appear, bringing even more friends into your life. Using magical tools gifted by your Critter companions you can navigate the strange new locations beyond the rifts.

As your café grows and you master your customers’ requests, you can draw inspiration from your new island home and its residents to refurbish and personalize your café and its magical sanctuary. You can also customize your character’s appearance and style, ensuring your wardrobe reflects your unique taste.

There will be a demo available during the next Steam Fest in October, too!
