Another year is gone in the blink of an eye, and here we are, yet again at the beginning of December, thinking about Christmas. This year, I’ve taken a more minimalistic approach to the Holiday season, with more handmade gifts and treats and decorations. This year has been busy, and I find that I am in sore need of some quiet time to recharge my batteries for the new year.
A Couple of Games From My Christmas Wishlist
Still, games are a big part of my free time now, and there are a couple of new titles, perfectly suited to my mood.
Winter Burrow

Winter Burrow is a cozy woodland survival game about a mouse returning home to restore their childhood burrow. It features exploration, gathering resources, crafting, meeting other characters and even knitting warm sweaters and baking pies. It came out at the beginning of November, and it’s been a chore saving it for the cozy holiday season.
Hidden Cats in Christmas

Hidden Cats in Christmas is the Christmas-themed entry in the long-running series by Nukearts Studio. Besides a big and very charming Christmas town scene with a lot of cats and characters, we also have several bonus scenes to prolong the fun.
Light Up The Town

Light Up The Town is a cozy, casual holiday game for all ages, where we play as Bean, a charming young ferret, and explore the town of Bellflower, Colorado, as we hang up festive string lights around to spread holiday cheer. You can read Soozi’s review of the demo here.
Final Thoughts
I am trying to be mindful and realistic this time around. Three games for the Holiday season seem quite doable. It will leave me plenty of time for family and reading. And then, before we know it, it will be a new year with a whole lot of new games to try and love. Happy Holidays!
