What a treat! Not one, but two Nintendo Directs have been scheduled for early September. The first on September 8th will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, and the following day we’ll see a standard Nintendo Direct. Both will be available live via your regional Nintendo YouTube channel and the Nintendo Today app.
The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct
Lasting approximately 30 minutes, we’ll get an array of information regarding The Legend of Zelda series. Fingers crossed we might see some more footage of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, together with a release date, and a trailer for next year’s The Legend of Zelda movie.

Following those announcements, the Nintendo Treehouse team will deliver over an hour of live gameplay from a handful of featured titles.
