Pieced Together is a 2026 scrapbooking puzzle game, developed and released by Glowfrog Games.

The Premise of Pieced Together
In Pieced Together, a cozy scrapbooking game, we play as Connie, a 30-something young woman, looking back on a difficult time in her life, when at 10 years old, her family moved to a new city, leaving her lost and alone. Luckily, she made a new friend, bold and confident Beth. They were best friends all through their school years. Now, it has been years since they spoke. Connie is creating a scrapbook of her childhood, and as she sorts through her memories and feelings, she pens an emotional letter to her former best friend. The final decision is up to you – should Connie reach out, or is it better to leave the past behind?

The Gameplay of Pieced Together
Pieced Together is based around the idea of creating a scrapbook, and it truly feels like we are creating one. We are given scraps of paper- memories really, be it tickets or photos, or saved doodles. We can examine each of them for additional clues and connect them on the page. Not all the scraps fit together, and that is the main part of the puzzle – to sort out what we need and what is of no use. Once we’ve found all the correct pieces, a memory unfolds, and we learn a new chapter of the story of Connie and Beth’s friendship.
Since this is a scrapbooking game, we also get plenty of decorations we can use however we want. Every chapter gets us new unlocked stickers.

As we go through the game, we get to enjoy a variety of scrapbooking activities and light puzzles – sorting mementos, reassembling torn-up photos, or solving light logic and word puzzles. While there isn’t an instruction for any of the puzzles, they are intuitive, so you aren’t left wondering what to do.
There are no timers and no pressure here, and really, nothing too difficult, which makes Pieced Together truly a cozy gaming adventure. It helps that the story is heartfelt and cozy. The whole game takes 1 to 2 hours to finish, with plenty of emotional surprises and lots of cats.
After completing a chapter, players can select it from the main menu and replay it to unlock more stickers.

Visuals
Pieced Together is crafted with beautiful illustrations and hand-drawn animations. The soundtrack is gentle and well-fitting with the rest of the game. The game also features high-quality voice acting.
Some Other Things
Pieced Together has basic audio and video settings. The game has Steam achievements, but no Trading cards yet.
Conclusion
Pieced Together is a cozy and gentle scrapbooking puzzle game with a poignant story about friendship and growing older. It offers us a few hours of dreamy distraction from the real world, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the friendship of Connie and Beth and perhaps to recall our own childhood friends and simpler times.
Final Verdict: Two Thumbs Up:
