Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number is a 2024 color-by-number game developed by Error 300 and released by Error 300 and Gamersky Games.
The Premise of Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number
Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number is exactly what the title says – we have pixel pictures to color by number, where the coloring looks like thread and consequently the whole colored picture looks like cross stitch.
Gameplay
We have an extensive gallery divided into 10 groups, each with 10 pictures. The themes are Alien Worlds, Autumn, Fantasy Medieval, Flowers and Butterflies, Halloween, Landscapes, Simple Patters, Simple Patters 2, Tribal Craze, and under the Sea.
We can zoom in and out of the picture and move around using the WASD on the keyboard. Coloring is done with the left mouse button. If we color the wrong part, we can de-color with the right mouse button.
The colors are listed at the bottom of the screen, beneath the picture. We select a color and it is highlighted on the screen. Once a color is completed, the color disappears from the list of colors.
We have a nice generic soundtrack, which can be turned off, if you so wish.
Some Other Things
Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number has accessibility options, including colorblind mode. You can also turn off the cross stitch effect and animation, adjust the picture movement sensitivity, and zoom in/out sensitivity.
The game saves progress automatically. Once you exit a picture, you can see it in the gallery, with percentages showing the completion.
The game has Steam achievements but no trading cards yet.
Conclusion
Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number is a nice little game for people who love to color. There are no timers or levels to pass, and the controls are simple and responsive. While it’s by no means groundbreaking, it does what it sets out to do—helping people pass the time by coloring. What’s not to like?
Final Verdict: I Like it.
