Only recently, the newest game in the Harvest Moon/ Story of Season series, Trio of Towns reached Europe. But as the game has been out in America for some months now, American fans will be happy to hear that the promised DLC is near. The DLC arrives on November 9 in North America for $7.99. We’ll also be seeing a new theme for the game on the same day for $1.99.
You will need to download a free 1.1 update for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns first, in order to access the DLC. When you do this, you will get four new outfits, which include Lest and Frey’s attire from Rune Factory 4. Other then that, the update contains some gameplay improvements.
The DLC itself has new friendship events, winter outfits, NPC dialogue, new story content, and two new romance candidates:
- A new bachelor and bachelorette: Stephanie the contest MC and Woofio. Yes, Woofio the contest judge in the dog suit. This includes new resident and romance events for these characters
- A few new events such as your father coming to visit and getting together with friends of the same gender for a meal
- The ability to have a child with the game’s secret marriage candidate
- A new “performer” story (Which are similar to the TV channels in the previous Story of Seasons)
- A new pet, Cheburashka, a Russian cartoon character that has a presence in Japan
- New costumes, including ones based on Lest and Frey from Rune Factory 4 (these are in the free update)
- New reaction dialogue for different outfits and pets from bachelors and bachelorettes
