Time Spent with Cats is Never Wasted

Stray Cat Doors is a great little puzzle game great for those looking for a laid-back, casual experience. Its a short game but completely immerses you from the very beginning. The art style, warm colors, and calming music create a wonderful atmosphere.

The basic premise of the game is similar to that of an Escape Room. Your objective is to unlock the door of the room you’re in by solving puzzles scattered throughout the room. The solved puzzles will lead you to uncover the hidden puzzle pieces required to unlock the room’s door. Once the puzzle is complete, the door will unlock and you will leave the room. You will then see a short memory of life with your cat and move on to the next Chapter. There are 6 chapters in all.

A Great Escape

For me, this game was a great escape (pun intended) from a stressful work day. The adorable animation and relaxing music was just what I needed. The puzzles started off fairly easy but seemed to get progressively more difficult, with more steps involved to find the required puzzle pieces. I did get stuck a few times, but fear not, there are hints available!

I was a little disappointed that the game was so short. Finished it completely in about an hour and it left me wanting more. However, this amount of content seems entirely sufficient for the price of the game. I would absolutely love to see some DLC to add more levels in the future!

Final verdict: I like it a lot!

I like it a lot!
