Garbage Truck Goes HONK! (And That’s the Point)
If the soul of a game could be distilled into a single sound, Trucky McTruckface would be an endless, joyous HONK. This is a glorious entry into the “silly games” hall of fame, sitting comfortably beside icons like Goat Simulator and Human Fall Flat. You control a garbage truck with a simple mission: collect bins while hitting everything in sight for score multipliers, causing maximum chaos within a time limit. And yes, your horn doubles as a weapon. That’s it—simple, straightforward, and fun.

Some levels let you play a sport—soccer, bowling, or even golf. In these, you can unleash pandemonium by honking at the right moment, splitting balls that then ricochet everywhere, sometimes even hitting your objective by pure chance. Control is an illusion here; success comes from surrendering to the beautiful chaos.

Simplicity Can be Good
Trucky McTruckface wears its simplicity with pride. Its surreal physics elevate everything: objects have little weight as you shove them through the streets in a glorious mess. A well-timed honk sends cars flying over your cab, never to be seen again—like a superpower to clear your path. All of this unfolds at high speed as you chase a high score. And while the concept is simple, earning three stars on each level is deceptively challenging.
The blocky, low-poly graphics and basic UI aren’t shortcomings—they’re part of its character, reminiscent of the beloved “Vicotory” screen in Stick Fight. This isn’t a game about polish; it’s about personality. The jank is a feature. You will clip through barriers, achieve ludicrous speeds, and occasionally break the game’s own reality. In a serious title, this would be a flaw. Here, it’s a guaranteed laugh.

A Streamer’s Dream in Need of Direction
This is a streamer’s dream game—perfect for live reactions, viewer challenges, and clip-worthy moments. The core driving and sports levels are brilliant, though I felt a need for more varied challenges and perhaps greater interactivity. This is where I see both immense potential and the game’s current growing pains. Its current presentation seems aimed at a younger audience, missing a chance to fully court the content creator crowd that would champion it.
As an Early Access title, this is its biggest opportunity. The foundation is incredibly fun. Adding more levels or direct integration for streamer-viewer interactions (like voting on chaos modifiers) could propel this from a fun diversion to a streaming staple.

Final Thoughts
Trucky McTruckface is an unabashedly silly, hilarious, and genuinely fun physics playground. If you crave a deep racing sim or a balanced score-attack game, look elsewhere. But if you want to turn your brain off, laugh uncontrollably, and HONK a sedan into the stratosphere for 20 minutes at a time, this is an easy recommendation.
As it stands, it’s a blast for fans of the genre and perfect for short, chaotic sessions. For streamers, this is a jewel waiting to be discovered, full of phenomenal potential—waiting to see if its development fully embraces the glorious chaos it has already created.
