Upcoming Switch and Switch 2 Games November 2025

It’s time to take a look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 games that are being newly released on our favourite handhelds. You can check the Nintendo website for games that are compatible with both the original Switch and the Switch 2. Additionally, we also feature upcoming Steam games for those who prefer gaming on Steam!

Upcoming Switch and Switch 2 Games

Not all games to be released are listed here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking notice of these games. You can expect reviews for many of them if given half a chance! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Nintendo website.

Dinkum – November 5th

Dinkum

A Survival Life Sim with Endless Possibilities, crops, raise animals, and build your dream farm, or roam the island catching fish and bugs at your own pace. With changing seasons and weather affecting how your crops grow, every day brings a new challenge. Slip on your flip-flops to hunt for rare fish, bugs, or ores. Every moment becomes a special adventure. Explore and Survive the Wild from red deserts and lush forests to hidden mines.

Yvonne reviewed Dinkum and had this to say in her conclusion:

On paper, Dinkum sounded like my ideal kind of game. I had anticipated that it would be a bit rough around the edges and that the blocky visuals wouldn’t appeal to me, but with the right kind of simulation gameplay, that would be fine. After playing it, it’s clear this is an impressive game, especially considering it’s made by a solo developer.

However, Dinkum didn’t grip me like I had hoped it would. I felt the controls were annoying and the quality of life seriously lacking. And though it may sound silly, it didn’t help that I would regularly see dingos or a crocodile hunt down and kill a kangaroo.

I’m a fan of cozy games, hence my verdict. But if you are okay with a less polished sim-survival game, I think you can sink many, many hours into building your town in the wilds.

My Cozy Aquarium – November 6th

My Cozy Aquarium

Collect 300+ quirky swimmers, unlock magical tanks, play cozy mini‑games, and decorate your perfect underwater paradise. Purchase surprise packs filled with delightful fish companions and nurture them through immersive, relaxing mini-games.

Feed your fish with care, maintain the perfect water temperature, clean the air filters to ensure healthy conditions, and gently scrub aquarium walls to keep your aquatic heaven crystal clear. As your fish grow, you’ll experience the joy of raising them from tiny swimmers into magnificent adults. Sell your mature fish to earn coins, enabling you to expand your underwater paradise further. Discover and collect over 320 beautifully quirky fish species – each with charming and whimsical designs.

Laurane reviewed My Cozy Aquarium and said this in her conclusion:

My Cozy Aquarium is a nice idea. It has the right ingredients, relaxing ocean sounds, cute fish species, and simple mini-games, but despite all that, I found myself checking the clock multiple times while playing. And for me, that’s never a good sign.

I can see why some people might enjoy it; it could be a gentle, entry-level experience in the simulation genre.
But as someone who plays a lot of Sims, there just isn’t enough to do here to keep me engaged.

Of Blades & Tails – November 6th

Of Blades & Tails

A turn-based RPG that is action-oriented but rewards a thoughtful approach. Explore a fantastic land populated by different animal tribes. Follow the main story or hunt for treasures in ancient ruins and mysterious dungeons. Develop your character and gain powerful equipment.

You play Reik, a clever member of the tribe of foxes. A chain of unfortunate events involves you in a quest of vital importance to all the peace-loving creatures of the realm. You will have to leave your home village and explore the world to become strong enough to stand up to evil. The gameplay is inspired by classic Hack & Slash RPGs. However, there is no permanent death in this game. It aims to be an accessible and entertaining Action-RPG.

As you explore the land, you’ll gain experience and unlock new abilities. Not all inhabitants will be friendly to you. Some will help you with information, others are only interested in trading, and still others will get in your way. Improve your equipment and collect useful resources in the environment to have a decisive advantage in battle.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment Nintendo Switch 2 – November 6th

Hyrule Warriors: age of imprisonment

Fight the war for Ancient Hyrule! Step onto the battlefield as Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and other legendary heroes as you fight to reclaim your homeland—and live the story of Demon King Ganondorf’s invasion that was only briefly alluded to in The Legend of Zelda™: Tears of the Kingdom game. Fight alongside new and familiar heroes to defend Hyrule from the Demon King. Princess Zelda is not alone in this war! Join Mineru, the Sages, and even some brand-new heroes in battles against Ganondorf’s forces. Combine powerful Zonai Devices with your heroes’ signature abilities to take down powerful bosses and their legions of minions.

Team up with a friend in two-player local co-op via split screen or GameShare. Join up with a friend for two-player local co-op, and you can spread out to cover more ground as the war unfolds, or stick together and combine your powers to smash the opposition. Play split-screen on a single system, or on two separate systems via GameShare; either way, only one person needs to have the game.

James reviewed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and gave it our highest score:

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment might be one of the most ambitious crossover games Nintendo has ever backed. It respects Zelda’s mythos, delivers the scale fans expect from a Warriors title, and layers in enough depth and polish to make both series shine. It’s loud, it’s unapologetically dramatic, and it’s one of those games that just feels good to play, whether you’re mowing through hordes of enemies or pausing to admire the sunset over the battlefield.

If you’ve never liked Warriors games, this probably won’t convert you. But if you’ve ever found joy in the cathartic rhythm of smashing through endless waves of foes, or if you just want more Zelda lore to sink into, you’ll be grinning from the first swing.

Outlanders – November 6th

Outlanders

Welcome to the Outlands! A faraway place where work is hard but rewarding, where people dream big but stay grounded, where friends become family, and settlements become cities. You will follow the story of a cast of lovable, eccentric, and (mostly) well-intentioned town leaders, as they pursue their dreams and whims, while their paths slowly start to intertwine in surprising, often humorous, sometimes heart-warming ways. It’s up to you to use the extensive catalogue of tools and buildings at your disposal to guide them towards their goals.

When challenges get too hard and the Outlanders start getting too picky, you can take a detour to the Sandbox mode, where creativity is the new leader in town. There, you can play with the full catalogue of buildings and mechanics right off the bat and customise the maps and rules as you please. The journey of Outlanders is only just beginning. As new leaders keep coming from far away to share their stories, and new ways of playing and sharing your experiences appear on the horizon, the ever-shifting landscape of possibilities gets more and more exciting.

I reviewed Outlanders on Steam and said this in my conclusion:

Outlanders is a fun game with a significant challenge for the player. I enjoyed trying to meet the leaders’ demands on each mission. I didn’t always succeed first try, but that’s part of the challenge to try again.

Boxes: Lost Fragments – November 6th

Escape a mysterious mansion full of mechanical puzzle boxes and hidden objects. As a legendary thief, your next assignment lures you into a grand and lavish mansion. There, you find a series of puzzle boxes, designed for an unknown purpose. Suddenly, you realise that this is no ordinary building and that you are no longer in control of what is unfolding, and perhaps never were. What should have been a quick in-and-out turns into your own harrowing struggle for freedom and answers.

Inspired by the cryptic atmosphere, intricate machinery, and smooth controls of the best room escape games, we have created a diverse set of original puzzle levels that will test your resolve and skills to navigate this mysterious and compelling journey.

I reviewed Boxes: Lost Fragments on Steam and gave it our highest score of Two thumbs up:

Overall, Boxes: Lost Fragments is a fantastic puzzler; the only complaint I have, which isn’t really a complaint, is that I wish the game were longer. I was disappointed to be finished with the game after six hours of gameplay. I enjoyed it very much.

If you enjoy these kinds of puzzle games, then Boxes: Lost Fragments will tick that box for you.

This set features all three Secret series DX titles for a discounted price:- “Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX”- “Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy DX”- “Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key DX”Note:- Each of the titles in this set can also be purchased separately. Be careful not to make duplicate purchases.

We previously reviewed Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and scored the game Two Thumbs up:

Overall, I really enjoyed the latest entry in one of the longest-running RPG series. Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout provided an experience that perfectly incorporates slice of life elements whilst providing a storyline that integrates character development where the player will grow attached to each of the characters during their journey. Gust has done a wonderful job in breathing fresh life into the franchise and is the perfect entry for newcomers to play.

In fact, I’m going to give this Atelier game our highest praise!

Yvonne reviewed Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy on Nintendo Switch, scoring the game Two Thumbs up:

Sometimes readers ask me which my favourite Atelier game is. A difficult choice to make, as there are many aspects that influence my choice. I like older games because of the English voice acting, though I wasn’t a fan of the adventures being timed. Too often I had to restart because when counting the days I had left it seemed clear I could never play the game to its end. But there’s also the synthesis and battle system to consider.

I always answer that each has its own charm. I really like Ryza’s synthesis system, but I’m not a big fan of the battle system, being more a fan of turn based battles. But when you look at the sheer size of the adventure, the attention to detail, all the things you can do in the games and the bond you build with the characters, I do think the Ryza games are the best.

With Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy Gust and Koei Tecmo have delivered again. This new game can be played on its own, though you’ll have to learn a lot to master it all in a short time. For me, there’s never a dull moment in the game and I love the new additions like the Exploration Diary.

You won’t be surprised that Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is the best of the best for me.

Yvonne reviewed Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key on Nintnedo Switch and gave it our highest score of Two Thumbs up:

With the third, and, judging from the title, last Atelier Ryza game, Gust has done it again. Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is another gaming experience the fans will absolutely love. And even if you’re not a fan yet, this is an excellent title to jump into; watch the prologue in the game and see that the Atelier games are wonderful adventure RPGs.

The main quest will keep you occupied for many, many hours with an excellent story, mysteries to solve, making stuff with alchemy and fighting monsters. It’s easy to get lost in this huge world and ‘smell the roses’. But unless you’re in a hurry, that may even be the best way to play, as it will give you many, many hours of good gaming fun. What could be better, travelling with friends on another grand adventure?
