The developers at Pathea Games are still hard at work to iron out the bugs in My Time at Portia in the console versions. Today, the Switch version is updated. Fixing lots of issues, although not all are reported to be thoroughly rooted out. The loading times are still long, but if, like me, you constantly have the game and the Switch in standby, that shouldn’t be a problem.
The issues fixed in the Switch version
- Fixed an issue where the character gets stuck when gifting an item to an NPC
- Fixed a crash that happens upon sleeping if the Player loads both Land Run event days and participates in the race each time
- Fixed an issue where NPC’s would not visit on the Player’s Birthday
- Fixed an issue with the photo album collection limit
- Fixed an issue with photo’s in the others Album
- Fixed an issue where the timer wouldn’t display the remaining harvest time for ‘Bamboo Papaya Seed’ when planted

- ‘Kick’ prompt will no longer appear in areas where trees have been previously cut down
- Fixed an issue with the Bandirat Prince when in the Deepest Ruin
- The rotating darts board sound effect will no longer continue to play after leaving the minigame
- Fixed looping audio when playing the Roping Minigame
- Audio fixes for Robopig rider
- Player will no longer retains their previous pose when changing poses in group photos with Gust
- Fixed some collision issues in the Hazardous Ruins
- Fixed an issue where the player would constantly look at their horse after riding it.
- Improvements to the stuttering issue when chopping down trees.
- Various performance improvements to instances of lag / stuttering in places
Strange thing is that the bugs seem to be random, as not all players have the same ones, or any. Are these fixes working for you?
