Welcome to our Wholesome gaming news!
This week, we have news about DLC expansion Bee Simulator: The Hive, DLC for Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines and bring Coloring Cats: Sports with Friends images to life. Launch Date for Bugtopia, new trailer for Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature and inKONBINI: Prologue Demo announced.
I’m going on holiday for a couple of weeks, and there won’t be a News segment here or on our subReddit during that time. My family members aren’t overjoyed with me constantly using my laptop, and it will be good to recharge my own batteries! LadiesGamers, of course, will keep going strong during that time due to the efforts of Paula and the rest of the team!
DLC Expansion Bee Simulator: The Hive
DLC expansion Bee Simulator: The Hive is buzzing its way onto Steam soon, made by Varsav Game Studios. You’ll see the world through a bee’s eyes as you explore a semi-open world inspired by Central Park, gathering pollen, evading threats, and uncovering secrets across ponds, picnic spots, and even a funfair.
If you don’t have the original Bee Simulator yet, this edition includes the original game plus The Hive expansion, letting you build and customise your own hive with new mechanics and game modes. Whether you’re protecting your colony in the heartwarming single-player story or racing through jet streams in mini-games, there’s always something to keep your wings busy. Plus, you can join up to four friends or family members in split-screen multiplayer for even more cooperative and competitive fun.

inKONBINI: Prologue Demo Announced
Nagai Industries has announced that the inKONBINI: Prologue Demo will be available on Steam from 1 to 8 May 2025, featured as part of LudoNarraCon 2025.

In the demo, you’ll play as Makoto Hayakawa, a young girl working her first night at the store, meeting colourful regulars and experiencing relaxing, satisfying gameplay.
The full game will blend laid-back store management with a heartfelt, nostalgic story and is currently in development. It’s planned for digital release early next year on PC, Mac, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
It does look very good, so if you’d like to explore it early, keep an eye out for the Prologue Demo on Steam starting 1 May!
