Release Date Train Valley Origins

Train Valley Origins, the newest entry in the popular Train Valley series, is pulling into the station on June 12, 2025, for PC via Steam. Published by Polden Publishing and developed by Flazm, this instalment takes you through four rich historical settings—including the Wild West and Victorian Europe—challenging you to build efficient rail networks across 40 engaging levels.

You’ll unlock 24 unique locomotives, manage traffic, and prevent collisions while delivering cargo on time. With its mix of nostalgic charm, fresh visuals, and strategic gameplay, Train Valley Origins also features a built-in level editor and full Steam Workshop support, so you can share and explore custom content from day one.

We gave Please, Touch The Artwork 2 our highest score when Paula reviewed it on Steam. Paula concluded that the game offers unique and engaging gameplay with the challenge of a hidden object puzzle game and seamless integration of gaming and art appreciation.

Thinky Direct for Brain-Teasing Games

The very first Thinky Direct showcase is set to premiere on May 29th, 2025, dedicated to puzzle and problem-solving titles.

The event is hosted by Thinky Games, an organisation that we are already familiar with as in the past years we were part of its jury for the Thinky Awards. The hour-long digital event will kick off the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase Steam Event.

You can expect a packed program featuring exclusive trailers, new reveals, and world premieres from familiar names in the thinky space, including Akupara Games, Wholesome Games Presents, and Draknek & Friends. If you love clever mechanics and brain-teasing gameplay, Thinky Direct should be a showcase worth tuning in for!

Oddsparks Leaving Early Access

Oddsparks is leaving Early Access on May 27th! Oddsparks is a blend of automation and real-time strategy where you explore a strange fantasy world, uncover the mysteries of the past, automate your workshops, and go on adventures with your odd & adorable Sparks.

When Mina made her early impressions article last year she was positive, and felt the game already had tons to do. Since then there have been several big and smaller updates, and the reviews on Steam have been very positive.

Demo for Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature

A few weeks ago we published an interview with Dreamhunt Studio, the studio behind the gorgeous looking Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature.

Time to give the game a try, as there’s a demo live on Steam. In this demo of Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature, you’ll discover the start of an unlikely friendship between a stone Golem and an adorable Fox. Their journeys intertwine on an emotional quest to restore Nature, while they discover secrets from a lost civilisation.

Cozy Idler Bugtopia Released on Steam

Bugtopia, a relaxing idle game where you can collect, raise, and breed insects to build your own eco-box, has gone live on Steam. In this debut title from indie developer Nocturnal Games, you can sell your insects for profit or keep them for continuous passive income, all while customising your eco-box with a variety of decorations.

There are 300+ lifelike bugs to collect and grow, breed them to unlock rare species! You can customize your terrarium with 300+ landscaping items and 70+ backgrounds. Truly a tiny, soothing nature escape on your screen!

Major Update for Bubble Ghost Remake

Bubble Ghost Remake has just received a major update that’s sure to delight both new and returning players. Nakama Game Studio has released Update 2.0.0, now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

James reviewed the game, and liked it a lot, saying in conclusion:

“Bubble Ghost Remake is a fantastic action-puzzle game that will appeal to players looking for something fresh and new. It takes a simple concept, blowing a bubble, and builds an entire experience around it, complete with puzzle-solving, precision movement, and even boss fights. The game’s charming art style, touching story, and rewarding challenge make it a great remake of a long-lost classic.”

With community feedback at its heart, Update 2.0.0 introduces a new “Story” mode for a more relaxed experience, a Bubble Shield system to tailor the challenge level, and the option to adjust settings on the fly without restarting your game. You’ll also notice smoother level design, clearer challenge descriptions, and a more refined UI, making it easier than ever to float through Heinrich Von Schinker’s mysterious mansion at your own pace.

So, it might be a good time to check back into Bubble Ghost Remake!

Full Launch Galactic Glitch

June 3rd on Steam. After time in early access, this physics-based roguelike shooter is reaching a new milestone, packed with fresh content and enhanced features.

James looked at the game in early access, and it already made a stellar impression on him. With the full release, you can look forward to new levels featuring unique gameplay mechanics, a wider variety of enemies and bosses, and exciting new weapons and Powers to experiment with. The update also introduces unique Starter Ships, each with special stats and abilities, letting you shape your playstyle in even more creative ways.

Version 1.0 brings a complete overhaul to difficulty and progression systems, offering a deeper and more refined roguelike challenge. On top of that, a revamped HUD and visual polish help make the experience smoother and more immersive.
