Free Update and New DLC for My Time at Sandrock
My Time at Sandrock just got a 1.4 Free Update and a new paid DLC called Love Chronicles.
The 1.4 Free Update adds post-marriage quests with beloved characters like Justice, Grace, and Amirah, plus an all-new romance quest for Owen. Console players can also get a taste of Sandrock life with a new demo that’s now available. There are practical gameplay improvements, too, like a new bus system connecting Sandrock and Portia and enhanced home editing modes, which make building and travelling easier than ever.
For longtime supporters, the update includes exclusive Kickstarter backer content. Backers can now experience a unique quest and encounter two Kickstarter-designed monsters.
The paid Love Chronicles DLC ($4.99) enriches the romance options with exclusive quests for characters Mi-an, Nia, Fang, and Logan, and it adds two narrative-driven Chronicles quests. The DLC also introduces a voice recording feature, further immersing players in Sandrock’s world.

I Am Future Leaves Early Access
The cosy rooftop survival game I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival is reaching its 1.0 release on Steam on November 13th, 2024. Developed by Mandragora and published by tinyBuild, this take on survival games invites you to build a dream base on top of a skyscraper in a tranquil, flooded post-apocalyptic city. With a focus on relaxation, I Am Future lets you farm, fish, and cook without the usual stress of survival games while turning old devices into useful tools, automating tasks with robot helpers, and decorating your rooftop sanctuary.
Paula checked out the demo when it was first released and was excited by what she saw. Since its Early Access launch in August 2023, I Am Future has earned an “89% Very Positive” rating on Steam, selling over 100,000 copies. Throughout Early Access, the game saw major updates introducing new features like solar grids, NPC relationships, dynamic weather, and new buildings, making the world more immersive. It’s also fully Steam Deck Verified and supports controllers for a seamless experience. It’s ready for the full release, I’d say!

Southfield Part of Cozy Quest Festival
Wholesome farming sim Southfield will be part of the upcoming Cozy Quest Festival, hosted by Secret Mode, from November 14th to 18th. During the event, you’ll get a sneak peek at some of the quirky new crops the team has been cultivating in the form of a fresh video presentation. Plus, there’s a special gameplay showcase on the Cozy Quest Steam page, featuring a developer-led tour through some of Southfield‘s most relaxing gameplay moments.
For now, we don’t have an early access date on Steam yet.

Honey Grove Launching on International Kindness Day
Honey Grove, the upcoming cosy mobile game from Runaway Play, is set to launch on November 13th, 2024, in honour of International Kindness Day. This gardening and farming game invites you to cultivate a beautiful garden of wildflowers while helping to restore the town of Honey Grove.
In Honey Grove, you’ll partner with bee companions, meet woodland characters, and gather resources from hawthorn berries to crab apples. With these resources, you can unlock and rebuild parts of the island, helping your garden thrive. Unlike traditional farming sims, Honey Grove uses real wildflowers.
Creative Director Emma Johansson shared that Runaway Play’s goal is to make games that women want to play. Honey Grove aims to offer a peaceful escape centred on kindness and community. The game is free to download on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with optional in-app purchases. Launch of Planet Coaster 2
Planet Coaster 2 has officially launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, priced at £39.99/$49.99/€49,99. Developed by Frontier Developments, this sequel expands upon the original with new features like water parks, enhanced creative tools, and deeper management elements.
For the first time, players can integrate water-based attractions into their parks alongside rollercoasters and classic rides. Every structure, ride, and even individual coaster car can be personalized with colours, patterns, and scenic touches. With the new event sequencer tool, players can control impressive visual effects like animatronics and water jets, making their parks feel more immersive than ever.
Managing a successful park requires sharp business skills, too. Weather changes mean stocking umbrellas or sunscreen, and lifeguards are a must to keep water attractions safe. Heatmaps help spot areas for improvement, and guest cameras allow players to experience their rides firsthand.

“EcoGnomix is a refreshing take on the rogue-lite genre, successfully combining turn-based strategy with city building. It offers something new and different from other titles in this space, and its relaxed approach makes it perfect for players who aren’t fans of fast-paced, high-stakes gameplay but still want a rewarding challenge. Whether you’re looking for a quick game session or a longer playthrough, EcoGnomix is sure to keep you engaged.”
