Fabledom Coming to Consoles
Exciting news for fans of city-building games! Fabledom, the enchanting fairy tale city builder by Dear Villagers and Grenaa Games, is coming to consoles on September 12th. You’ll be able to build your dream kingdom on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series consoles, bringing the magic of Fabledom right to your living room.
In Fabledom, you can engage in diplomacy, recruit legendary heroes, and even pursue romance as you rule over your own fairy tale kingdom. Expect a few surprises along the way, like encounters with flying dragons, as you explore this whimsical storybook world. We’ve previously reviewed Fabledom on Steam, and it received our highest rating—so this console release is definitely one to look out for!

Blocky Farm on Steam and Other Consoles
Blocky Farm is expanding its reach and is now available on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. Priced at €9.99 | $9.99, Blocky Farm invites you to create the farm of your dreams, manage your lands, and connect with a charming town full of potential friends.
In Blocky Farm, you’ll take care of adorable animals, accessorize them with fun gadgets, and enjoy delightful interactions that boost your farm’s rewards. As you expand your farm, you’ll build new structures, plant diverse crops, and strategize to maximize efficiency. Plus, you can deliver fresh goods to the nearby town and reinvest your earnings to keep growing. We’ve reviewed Blocky Farm on the Nintendo Switch and enjoyed it, so if you like your farming sims, be sure to check it out.

To the Moon Ported to PS and Xbox
The beloved indie classic To the Moon by Freebird Games is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Originally released on Steam in 2011 and later on Nintendo Switch in 2020, To the Moon is being ported to more platforms. So, every game can now experience the touching story of Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts, who give patients on their deathbeds a chance to fulfil their final wishes by altering memories to grant them a new, dream-fulfilling past.
We reviewed the game on Switch in 2020, and liked it a lot!
In addition, the new series finale, The Beach Episode, will launch on September 20th on PC. This special episode takes the Sigcorp crew on an all-expenses-paid trip to the Golden Lobster Resort, packed with mini-games, mysteries, and some familiar faces from To the Moon, Finding Paradise, and Impostor Factory. But even on this relaxing getaway, not everything is as it seems…

Wooden Diorama Woodo
At GamesCom, this little diorama caught my eye, as it looked so detailed and lovely. The game is called Woodo, a cosy 3D puzzle game that invites you into a tranquil world of diorama assembly.

In Woodo, you’ll join Foxy, a young girl from the city who is sent to the countryside for the summer. Through her journey, Foxy discovers a different pace of life, filled with self-discovery, tranquillity, and a newfound sense of balance. You’ll create beautiful, wooden sceneries piece by piece, with each assembly accompanied by Foxy’s voice narrating a story that ties into the scene.
Woodo is a gentle reminder of those childhood feelings of wonder and peace, often missed or forgotten with time. There is no release date announced yet, but we will keep an eye out!

Cities: Skylines II Decorations Patch
Cities: Skylines II has had another update with fixes and improvements, but also with a new Decorations Menu. The menu gives access to almost 300 decoration props in 8 categories:
-
- Nature (33 props)
- Park (35 props)
- Potted Plants (30 props)
- Residential Props (84 props)
- Industrial Props (49 props)
- Commercial Props (25 props)
- Debris (29 props)
- Decals (13 props)
Even with some hick-ups at release of this next generation city builder, we gave the game our highest rating!

Aquarius Update No Man’s Sky
The folks at Hello Games have been busy with another update for the ever-popular and ever-expanding No Man’s Sky. The Aquarius update to No Man’s Sky lets you fish in the new oceans introduced in the Worlds update, which gave the water a reflective surface. You can catch various underwater creatures, from small fish to large alien marine mammals. To find them all, you’ll need to explore different bodies of water on various planets. This update also introduces a deployable Exo-Skiff, automated fish traps, a deep diving suit, cooking and more.
For the next 6 weeks, you can also take part in The Aquarius expedition. During this time, you’ll journey across the galaxy to catch fish, collect stories, and reminisce about the one that got away. Completing the expedition will reward you with a detailed set of deep-sea customisation parts, including a unique underwater jetpack.
This latest update to No Man’s Sky is free for existing players to download. You can grab the base game at a 60% discount via Steam until September 16th.

Hotel Galactic Kickstarter
Sometimes, even when a Kickstarter is funded successfully, you can still enter as a backer with a late pledge. This is the case with the management sim Hotel Galactic. The campaign was successfully funded and beyond by the end of July, but you can still join the other 3,274 backers. The next stretch goal to reach is a new alien race in the game.
Hotel Galactic is a cosy management game where you transform a rundown intergalactic hotel into a thriving tourist destination. Inspired by the enchanting worlds of Studio Ghibli, Hotel Galactic blends wholesome nostalgia with modern fairy tale magic, ushering you into a new era of simulation games crafted by Ancient Forge. You can find more info on the Kickstarter page here.

Tiny Glade is Coming
Tiny Glade is a relaxing game that lets you doodle whimsical castles, cosy cottages, and romantic ruins without any goals, management, or combat to worry about. The game is set to launch on September 23rd, 2024, for PC on Steam.
Its gridless building system adds procedural details, making whatever you create look fantastic right from the start. It’s perfect for when you just want to kick back and craft something beautiful! Check out the launch trailer, and you can find more information here and you can even try out the demo now.
