Like the little button on the homepage of the site tells you, new writers are still welcome on LadiesGamers. You would think that with our growing team it might get crowded, but that’s not the case.
You see, our motto is that people who join our team write when they have inspiration and spare time in real life. Some of us are working on the site on a daily basis, others write when they can.
I’d like to introduce you to a gaming friend that I’ve known for some 12 years now. Of course (how else, if you know my gaming history!) I met her in Animal Crossing that she played avidly. Her grown up daughter played as well, always fun to have them in my Wild World town together when they were talking about everyday life.

ChamZen here. I’m 55 years old and a Grandmother to 5. I live in Northern Ireland with my partner.
I started getting interested in gaming when the Nintendo Entertainment system was released, through the years I’ve played all the home and handheld consoles from Nintendo as well as Xbox and PlayStations.
Nowadays it’s just Nintendo consoles I own. I have a New 3DS XL and a Switch, though I must say the 3DS is being a bit neglected since I got the Switch.
I really enjoy a good adventure/RPG game like Legend Of Zelda or the Dragon Quest series, but I can also get into a simulation game or a puzzle game. Actually, anything that I can sink hours of playtime into is perfect!
