Meet James
James is 34 and lives out his days in the United Kingdom. He has been fascinated with gaming ever since the age of 4 when he used to spend hours watching his mum play Rainbow Islands on the Amstrad computer. He’s been enthused with gaming ever since and has collected more or less every console and handheld you can think of. His particular favourites being the Vita and 3DS. However, the Switch is on track for taking the crown.
James has blogged and co hosted a podcast about retro gaming for around six years. He feels there is something inherently special about video games and how they can bring people together through sharing stories and memories.
When he’s not working he also volunteers for several charities. One of the most interesting projects he undertakes is being a ‘Sheep Looker’ for the National Trust. Where he regularly checks on rare breeds of sheep making sure they’re well looked after and cared for.

Welcome! I too really love the 3DS and Vita. I’d be really curious to know why the Switch may become your favorite. Games? Console design? Looking forward to reading more by you in the future.
Switch may be the favourite as it’s I love the hybrid handheld and on TV choice. Since Sony doesn’t support the VITA its a good spiritual successor. I also just love I can take it about prop it on a table somewhere and play some games alone or with a friend or possibly some random person (you never know). Thanks for the comment.
