Meow Moments: Welcome to Campus is a new DLC for Meow Moments: Celebrating Together, and yet another fun addition to the Hidden Animals (well, mostly cats!) genre.
The Premise of Meow Moments: Welcome to Campus
In Welcome to Campus, the new DLC for Meow Moments: Celebrating Together, there is little of a storyline. We have a fun and detailed scene from a school campus where we can see different school and university activities – study sessions, creative clubs, sports, professors, and students rushing to class or mingling around. We see curious cats, humans and other critters engaged in the pursuit of knowledge, from deep discussions under shady trees to celebrating new discoveries in the lab. The art is beautiful as usual and has plenty of Easter eggs to look out for.
The Gameplay
In Welcome to Campus, we must find cats, people, critters, and balloons. While the art is very clear and concise, finding everything is still plenty of challenge. Should you get stuck, you can use one of the three magnifying lenses on top of the screen: one for kittens, one for people and critters and one for balloons. The hints are unlimited, so you only need to wait a few seconds for them to recharge. If you want, you can click on the clue and change the object you are seeking to another. When you find something, it fills with colors immediately. In the end, the whole picture is colored as well.
Some Side Notes
There are basic settings like audio and video, language, and zoom inversion. A new option is choosing the style of the clues – should they include details from around the object you are seeking, or not? Meow Moments- Welcome to Campus doesn’t add any new Steam achievements or trading cards.
Conclusion
Welcome to Campus is a fun addition to an already fun game. Besides a new scene, it also adds new elements to play around with in the level creator. If the developers keep delivering new DLCS with this quality, Meow Moments will surely become a go-to hub for hidden object/ kitten games. In any case, it’s a game that is more than worth it for fans of the genre.
