Snug Finder is a hidden object game released by Soroka Games.

Become a Finder
In Snug Finder, you become a finder as you try to find all the objects in each scene. When I first saw the game, I thought it looked like a children’s game, meaning it would be easy to play; that’s the impression I got from looking at the images. It is a beautiful-looking game with lovely illustrations, but don’t be fooled like I was into thinking it is easy. It’s not extremely difficult, but it provides a good challenge.

Thirty-six Illustrations
The game has thirty-six illustrations for you to find all ten hidden items in each puzzle. In addition, the puzzles are timed, giving you two minutes to find them all.
The hidden objects to find are varied, ranging from vegetables, animals, food and all kinds of household items. I love the variety of items you have to find in each puzzle, which helps keep the game fresh.

Time Limit
Finding the items can be tricky as some are very well blended into the puzzle’s background. Additionally, I did run out of time on some of the puzzles as some items are very well hidden. You don’t win three stars if you don’t find all the items within the time limit.
However, you can replay any puzzles you run out of time on to get the three stars. Winning three stars on each puzzle is important as the stars are required to open the other puzzles in the game.

Visuals and Controls
Visually the Snug Finder is gorgeous to look at, with lots of bright colours. There is certainly a lot to see in each puzzle. The game gives off a cosy atmosphere, helped along by some very chill music and sounds. It’s a very relaxing game to play, even with the time counting down in the corner of the screen. I never felt under pressure due to the time limit, especially since I could replay the puzzle.

You can control the game with either the joy-cons or touchscreen. I used both systems, and they both work well. However, occasionally the game didn’t register when I touched an item I had found on the screen. Though that could have been me not pressing enough on the screen for the Switch to register the action.

Conclusion
Snug Finder is a wholesome, sweet and enjoyable hidden object game. It would be suitable for all ages to play, from young to old. I could imagine parents and grandparents playing this game with the children. The children would spot the hidden object instantly, leaving the adults in their wake. For the price of £7.99 in the eShop, I would have liked to have more puzzles, but if you are quick, you can snap the game up as it is on sale for £1.74 | $1.99 | € 1,99
Final Verdict: I Like It A Lot
