It’s time to take a look at the upcoming Switch games that are being newly released on our favourite handheld, the Nintendo Switch. Plus, we also feature Upcoming Steam games for those of you who prefer gaming on Steam!

Not all games to be released are on the list here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking notice of these games. You can expect reviews for many of them if given half a chance! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Nintendo website.
Farmagia – November 1st
Marvelous and Hiro Mashima team up to present a brand-new adventure full of frantic monster combat and rewarding farming simulation. After the death of Felicidad’s ruler, the despotic overlord Glaza seizes power and imposes an oppressive regime on the world’s inhabitants. As Ten and his fellow Farmagia friends, command an army of monsters as you explore and battle across the treacherous lands of the Underworld, collecting resources to take back to your farm. There you’ll upgrade your skills as a Farmagia, growing more monsters to nurture, and developing their new traits to aid your battle against Glaza and the Oración Seis.
Paula checked out Farmagia, and liked it a lot, writing in conclusion:
With its mix of creature collection, strategic monster battles, and farming mechanics, Farmagia offers a unique experience for RPG fans. Despite its performance hiccups and dense tutorials, it has charm, though not every player will enjoy the fighting aspect of the gameplay. If you’re willing to push through the initial learning curve and forgive the occasional slowdown, Farmagia provides an experience worth investing in.
Tinkertown – November 4th
Come to Tinkertown – a relaxed and refreshing new multiplayer sandbox gaming experience! Grab a shovel, pickaxe, or sword and enter a realm full of treasures, magic, and dangers. A magical place awaits you, where you can let your imagination run wild. Create your little fantasy kingdom – from a cosy adventurer’s hut with a garden to small towns with their own parks.
James reviewed Tinkertown and had this to say:
Overall, I enjoyed my time with Tinkertown, though it arrived at a time when I had just played another crafting game that resonated with me more. That said, for newcomers to the crafting sandbox genre or those looking for a fresh take, Tinkertown is worth considering. It requires a substantial time investment to reap the full benefits of its gameplay, but the good news is that you can progress at your own pace. Whether you play solo or with friends, this game has the potential to provide many evenings of engaging, creative fun.
The bugs I encountered did slightly mar the experience, but with the developers already working on fixes, I’m optimistic about an update before it is actually released on the Nintendo Switch. If you’re looking for a new crafting adventure that blends exploration, combat, and creativity, Tinkertown could be your next time-sink. The game’s charm, coupled with the freedom to play your way, makes it an enticing option for crafting fans.
Virche Evermore: -EpiC Lycoris- – November 7th
The small country of Arpéchéle is surrounded by the sea and filled with black flowers known as Lycoris Noirges. Every island resident is cursed to die at the age of 23. Many years of research have led to the creation of a “memory download” system, allowing the body to die while memories live on in a clone known as a “Reliver”.
The original story of Virche Evermore -ErroR: Salvation- followed a girl known as “Death” who brought an early end to any person she was involved with. With the assistance of others, she was able to discover the truth behind some of the dark workings on the island.
This fan disk allows you to explore five unique, all-new tales.
Caroline reviewed Virche Evermore: -EpiC Lycoris- and had this to say:
To keep it short, I liked Virche Evermore -EpiC: Lycoris-. They added a lot of extra content to make the game pretty long, so game-time-wise, you’re good. Not everyone had the ending I was hoping for, but maybe that is just the story the writers were going with. But in a lot of ways, the characters did get a happy ending in their way.
Magical Bakery – November 7th

Lynne reviewed Magical Bakery and said this in her conclusion:
Magical Bakery is a cooking-themed, time-management simulation with more than a spoonful of magic sprinkled about. It has some different elements from other games in the same genre and an intriguing background story that makes you want to cook more just to find out what it’s all about.
There is a good balance between buying, selling, and upgrading in Magical Bakery, which means progressing doesn’t feel like a grind. Various options allow for a stress-free experience if necessary.
Tetris Forever – November 12th
Unrivalled after four decades, Tetris Forever celebrates the original, genre-inspiring puzzle game that escaped from behind the Iron Curtain, onto the world stage, and into our cultural consciousness!
More than 15 playable classic games from the series’ history are featured, including many being released for the first time outside Japan. DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake – November 14th

It’s been six years since the first game surprised us. Home Bear Studio has been hard at work making the sequel NAIRI: Rising Tide another wonderful entry. So much attention to detail, giving instructions and hints in beautiful drawings. Lovely hand-drawn scenes and relatable characters. Wonderfully intricate puzzles and a storyline that could easily carry the story by itself.
I love this game so much that I decided to buy the first one on Switch at a very attractive price as well. If you love puzzles combined with a great story, go for NAIRI: Rising Tide!
Petit Island – November 14th
Welcome to the beautiful and tropical Petit Island! Relive your grandpaw’s youthful adventures by exploring the island and meeting all the unique islanders in this heartwarming, open-world narrative exploration game.
Grandpaw was once a brave, adventurous cat with many tales to tell. Now, as his memories fade, all that remains is the story he told to his beloved grandchild Lily and some in his old journal, which has recently been discovered. It is time for you, as Lily, to go on your own quest to relive Grandpaw’s adventures and uncover new ones! Can you help Grandpaw remember his past?
Lynne reviewed Petit Island and said this:
Petit Island is a charming story of friendship and hope. There are moments of sadness and joy as Lily ventures around the picturesque islands, with the music balancing the gameplay beautifully.
I would have liked Petit Island a lot if not for the software crashes during the final chapter, which spoilt my overall enjoyment. Hopefully, the developers will be able to rectify this quickly.
Land of Mushrooms – November 15th

This is a casual game where players are tasked with merging mushrooms to create larger and more enchanting fungi. The goal is to keep the pot from overflowing while navigating around obstacles and using special items to your advantage.
