Mable & The Wood (October 10)
- In Mable and the Wood, players control a resurrected girl, who according to prophecy, is set-apart to save a dying world. According to the Steam page for the game, it’s a Metroidvania style game where you hunt down massive beasts and, upon destroying them, shapeshift into their forms in order to use their powers to save or destroy the world. Players with less violent intent can find secret paths to complete Mable without killing anything, including bosses. Now that last bit sounds intriguing to me!
Doraemon Story of Seasons (October 11)
The first Story of Seasons game to appear on the Switch! Now we all know and love the Story of Seasons games, and a crossover with Doraemon should prove interesting. When I read the game is being developed by Studio Brownies (together with Marvelous) I was instantly in. You see, Studio Brownies also made Egglia: the Legend of the Redcap for mobile a couple of years ago. Lovely art style. Let’s see what they have made of this farming sim. Read a bit more about the background here.

Atelier Ryza (October 29 US, November 1 EU)
As always in most every Atelier game, it is the story of a girl and her friends who are about to become adults, discovering what is most important to them.
