Fall, or Autumn: no matter how you call it, but it’s very clear to see outside. Leaves are turning color, early dark outside and pumpkins seem to sprout up next to front doors here in town. Let’s see what games the Switch has to offer!
Mind you, not all games to be released are on here. Alternatively you will see games that the big gaming sites don’t mention. These are the games that we are taking notice of, and if given half a chance, you can expect reviews for many of them! It should be noted that unless I have some personal experience with the game mentioned, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Nintendo website.

Pikmin 3 DeLuxe – October 30
Command a capable crop of tiny creatures and explore a hostile planet in this exciting blend of action and strategy. Use each Pikmin type’s unique skills to overcome obstacles and open up a diverse world around you. Seek out valuable items, solve puzzles and overcome powerful creatures in a richly detailed world full of surprises!
I played this game on my WiiU inspiring me to write this:
I hadn’t expected to like it quite as much as I did. I should have seen it coming though, as a big part of the game is time management and finding the best way to make the most out of a day of problem solving. And I love my time management games! What I didn’t expect though is that I really felt for the little guys. And there’s my problem.
I suspect most people approach the game with a feeling of having expendable resources. When Pikmin die, they just make new ones. I tried to steel my heart too, but I just couldn’t. I even restarted a day because I couldn’t get the last straggling Pikmin to the ship in time, condemning them to being eating by a giant ladybug. The heart wrenching cries when you see their little ghosts float away….
Truly, one of my absolute favourites! Paula has bought the game (again, lol) her review is here!
