Go-Go Town!’s Spring Cleaning Update
The fourth major update for Go-Go Town! called Spring Cleaning, is live! As is always the case with updates for Go-Go Town!, it’s packed full of quality-of-life upgrades and player-requested features. This update will make your town-running experience smoother and more enjoyable than ever. (By the way, don’t own the game yet? Here’s Margaret’s review!)
Some highlights include the handy Town Info App, giving you all the details about your shops, workers, and town alerts right at your fingertips. You can also now store a personal vehicle and tool in your TownCo Dimensional Pockets, making quick swaps a breeze. For builders, rotating NPC housing and experimenting with 360° camera rotation adds more freedom in designing your dream town.
Farming has been streamlined too, with the new Automated Feed Maker and infinite seeds making chores easier. Traders have a revamped UI, and market stalls now support automatic deliveries. Plus, there are new goodies like the Tac-Oh! food truck, lobster pots, customizable colours for park items, and even alternative milk recipes. Plus, some nice new decor items!
Fruitbus on Switch and PlayStation 5
Silver Lining Interactive has announced a publishing deal with Krillbite Studio to bring the food-filled adventure Fruitbus to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The game already has a verdict of ‘Very Positive’ reviews on Steam, so it is good news that Fruitbus is now rolling its way onto consoles, both digitally and as a physical edition, courtesy of Silver Lining Interactive, later in 2025.
Mina reviewed the game and liked it a lot, saying in her conclusion: “If you like simulation titles with heart, I cannot recommend Fruitbus enough. “ She encountered a few bugs, but as this was last year, they are surely addressed already.
Fruitbus is a cosy open-world culinary adventure where flavour is the name of the game! Hop into the driver’s seat of your grandma’s food truck, explore the vibrant Gustum Archipelagos, and forage for the freshest ingredients to whip up a menu that’ll warm hearts and fill bellies. Every meal is a chance to spark friendships, spread joy, and prove that variety really is the spice of life.
Pixelshire Coming to Steam
Pixelshire is a blend of RPG, life sim, and sandbox town-building elements and is coming to Steam on May 8th, 2025. In this cosy adventure, you’ll shape and design your own town, grow your community, and explore the continent of Arcadia at your own pace.
You’ll have the freedom to customise your town and farm, meet and build relationships with unique characters, and master trades like farming, fishing, cooking, and more. Whether you’re venturing through enchanted forests, trading valuable items, or discovering hidden treasures, there’s plenty to keep you busy in Pixelshire’s vibrant world.
I checked out one of the earliest demos for the game in 2023 and found that it still needed some work, but I should think a lot has been added in the past years!
Solve Logic Clues with Einstein’s Cats
Do you love your puzzles to be logic challenges? Einstein’s Cats is a cosy puzzle game coming your way on March 31st, 2025 on Steam. In this brain teaser, you’ll be solving clues to help a variety of picky cats find their perfect napping spots, whether it’s a box, a basket, or even a flower pot!
The game offers over 90 levels of logic-based puzzles, all with a delightful twist inspired by Einstein’s famous riddle. Along the way, you’ll collect stickers and decorations to fill your very own cat-themed scrapbook. Each chapter features unique hand-drawn papercraft art, taking you through cosy houses, chic cafés, greenhouses, and even space stations.

Yooka-Replaylee, the remastered version of Playtonic’s collectathon, is set to launch in 2025. Announced during The MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase, the latest trailer gives us a fresh look at the vibrant, reimagined worlds and confirms that PM Studios will be joining as co-publisher.
In Yooka-Replaylee, you’ll explore five fully rebuilt biomes, each filled with platforming challenges and plenty of collectables to hunt down. The trailer also introduces a brand-new character, Coinelius, and shows off the game’s sleek 4K visuals running smoothly across platforms.
You can look forward to Yooka-Replaylee arriving later this year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo platforms.
Ruffy and the Riverside Has a Release Date!
German indie studio Zockrates Laboratories, alongside US publisher Phiphen Games, has announced the official release date for Ruffy and the Riverside. The hand-drawn 3D platformer will launch on June 26th, 2025. You’ll be able to join Ruffy’s adventure on PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Originally planned for an early 2025 release, the developers decided to delay the launch to ensure all platforms receive the game at the same time. They’ve used Ruffy’s magical “SWAP” ability—both in-game and in development—to make sure the final product is polished and ready for everyone.
When James wrote about the game’s demo, he said, “By the time I finished the demo, Ruffy and the Riverside had left a big smile on my face.”
Life-Sim Spirit Crossing Coming to Netflix
Developer Spryfox has announced Spirit Crossing to the world! Spirit Crossing is a cozy, cooperative life-sim focused on friendship and community. You can journey to a world where you can decorate your home, build with your friends, ride on a Fluffalo train, or even join a dance party. From the looks of it, the game will come to Netfllix.

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero Coming to Steam
If you love your tactical RPGs, Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is something to try out. Out already on Switch and mobile, it’s coming to Steam on April 24th. I had the pleasure of reviewing the game and writing my conclusion:
“This is truly a tactical RPG that you can play any way you like. You decide which Phantoms to take into battle, how to deploy them, which equipment to use and more. Now, that is true for more games like this, but the sheer number of possibilities is quite something. Add the gridless battlefield to that and the special abilities Marona has, and you’ll have many hours of gaming fun with Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero.”
Physical Switch Version A Highland Song
Want to explore the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands while playing on your Switch? Super Rare Games has teamed up with inkle LTD to bring A Highland Song to Nintendo Switch in an exclusive physical edition.
Nominated for a BAFTA award for Best British Game, A Highland Song invites you to join Moira McKinnon as she runs away into the heart of the Highlands. We gave the game our highest rating, and Paula said in conclusion:
“A Highland Song is beautiful and heartwarming; it feels like you are in the highlands of Scotland that’s immersed in the area’s culture. A’body should play this game, enjoy Moira’s thoughts, and skedaddle aff over the auld highlands. A Highland Song is a wee belter of a game and one of the best games I’ve played this year when Moira and I saw the sea.”
Mark your calendar: the physical edition launches on March 27th, 2025, at 6pm GMT (11am PDT / 2pm EDT) and there are only 3,000 copies.
Honeymancer Early Access On March 27
Honeymancer ( according to Mina, one of the cutest tower defence games she ever played) will land in Early Access on Steam on March 27th. Sole developer Lukas is telling you about the expected roadmap for the game and why he chose Early Access on Steam here.
Hanako’s Flower Shop Blooming on Steam
Tokyo-based indie studio FantaJI Games has announced that Hanako’s Flower Shop will be blooming on Steam next month! Set to launch in April for US$14.99, this cosy flower shop management visual novel blends heartfelt storytelling with resource management gameplay.

Primarily developed by Ukrainian solo developer Vsevolod Metelsky, the game has been in the works since 2019 but faced delays due to the war in Ukraine.
