Spirit of the North 2 Coming

Spirit of the North 2 is set to launch on May 8th, 2025, bringing a new chapter of mythic adventure to PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. Developed by Infuse Studio and published by Silver Lining Interactive, the sequel builds on the charm of the original Spirit of the North with an expansive open world and a deeper dive into Nordic folklore.

This time, you’ll journey as a lone fox accompanied by a raven, exploring the beautiful yet mysterious Northern Isles. Your quest will lead you through ancient ruins, encounters with corrupted Guardians, and puzzles powered by magical abilities. With over 16 hours of gameplay, Spirit of the North 2 promises a heartfelt blend of exploration and storytelling.

A special Signature Edition will also be available physically for PC and PlayStation 5, featuring handcrafted collectables for fans and collectors.

Free Update and Switch Release Another Crab’s Treasure

Another Crab’s Treasure is celebrating its first anniversary in style with a big free update! The Year of the Crab update launches on April 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version coming shortly after. This update brings loads of new content, including a New Game Plus mode along with new upgrades, costumes for Kril, a boss rush mode, and fresh achievements and trophies to unlock.

Aggro Crab isn’t just scaling enemy stats; they’ve remixed almost every encounter, added new boss moves, and even slipped in some new items to keep things exciting.

Plus, Aggro Crab is teaming up with iam8bit to release boxed versions of Another Crab’s Treasure for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, which will include the full game and DLC. More details on that are coming soon.

Minuto – Galactic Deliveries Math-y Puzzles

Minuto – Galactic Deliveries will arrive on Steam on May 1st, 2025, giving us a galaxy with math-y puzzles. In this brain-teasing adventure, you’ll play as Minuto, an adorable space rabbit on a mission to deliver packages across the stars, no matter how tricky the route.

Developed by Yellow Seahorse Games, a one-man studio from Italian developer Simone Chelo, Minuto – Galactic Deliveries combines clever puzzle mechanics with a cozy narrative full of humour and hidden lore. Your delivery ship can split into multiple vessels—but they all need to land at the same time. You’ll need to dodge obstacles, navigate cosmic glitches, and plan every move carefully!

With a pixel art style, relaxing soundtrack, and support for English, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, this quirky space tale might be perfect for puzzle lovers looking for a thoughtful and engaging journey.

Aksys Announces Illusion of Itehari

To mark the first anniversary of Utakata no Uchronia‘s original Japanese release, Aksys Games has officially revealed the English title of the game: Illusion of Itehari. The visual novel is set to launch this fall on Nintendo Switch, and pre-orders are now live. If you’re a fan of collector’s items, an exclusive edition featuring the game’s original soundtrack on CD will be available only through the Aksys Online Store.

So what is this otome game about? Set in the floating garden city of Itehari, the story follows Hinagiku, a noble young woman curious about the world beyond her sheltered life. Her encounter with a mysterious amnesiac named Yashiro sparks a journey through hidden secrets and unsettling truths about the so-called utopia.

Illusion of Itehari is expected this fall, and the age rating is still pending.

Tiny Garden, Pocket-sized Strategy Puzzle

Tiny Garden is a new cosy game from Super Rare Games and Ao Norte on Steam. In this pocket-sized adventure, you’ll build and shape your own little garden, blending strategy and puzzles with a bright, cheerful art style that’s perfect for relaxing gameplay sessions. I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing it, and I absolutely loved it!

Supporter’s Pack is also available for a small price (£0.89 / $0.99 / €0.99). It features fun extras like an OG Logo Sticker, Candyfloss Clouds ambience, and a Bakewell Colourway to customise your garden with soft pinks and sweet vibes.

Looking ahead, a Summer Breeze DLC is planned for Summer 2025. It will include a free content update for all players, with optional cosmetic items available for purchase. More details are coming soon.

Duck Detective Released on Mobile

When Mina reviewed Duck Detective: The Secret Salami on Steam, so absolutely loved it, saying, “it’s one of the best kid-friendly games I’ve ever played. It seems like something that would be super fun to play with some older kids who are comfortable reading and with deduction.”

It’s great news that the game is out now in the App Store and Google Play Store as well! It’s free to start, with a fixed fee to unlock the rest.

Omega Crafter Leaving Early Access

Omega Crafter, the co-op open-world survival crafting adventure from Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN), is officially launching its 1.0 version and leaving Early Access on PC via Steam on May 14, 2025.

In this virtual world under siege from bugs, literally, you play as the top engineer of a game studio who must digitise themselves to fix the chaos from the inside. Whether you venture solo or team up with up to five friends, you’ll gather resources, explore procedurally generated biomes, tackle dungeons, and battle malware-infected bosses.

With the help of your adorable robot assistant Grammi, you can automate tasks or even build complex behaviour patterns using an intuitive drag-and-drop coding system. Version 1.0 introduces a brand-new Creative Mode, allowing you to construct anything from cozy hideaways to sprawling megacities.

Decoration game Twinkleby Announced

Might & Delight has unveiled Twinkleby, a charming new decoration game set among the stars. Coming to PC, Mac, and Linux in 2025, Twinkleby invites you to create beautiful dioramas on floating islands while exploring a starlit archipelago filled with antique treasures and whimsical characters.

In Twinkleby, you’ll decorate Victorian dollhouses and gardens with a growing collection of items. Flying boats bring new residents—each with their own personality—who will interact with your creations and each other. Keeping them happy not only brings joy to your island but also earns you lovely rewards!

As you expand your sky bound world, you’ll unlock larger islands, new seasonal themes, fresh furniture variations, and more. You can even shape the soundtrack by changing the weather and seasons in your sky-high neighbourhood.
