Roots of Pacha Celebrates 2nd Anniversary With Big Update
Roots of Pacha, the cozy Stone Age farming and life sim from Soda Den, is celebrating its second anniversary with the launch of the massive Sun and Moon 1.3 update, available now! You can dive into the new content on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5|4, and Xbox Series X|S and One.
This free update brings a wealth of new content to the game’s mid and end-game, including two expansive new regions—the Mograni Mountains and Yakuan Islands—each with subregions, new characters (including romance options), animals like pandas and dodos, and new mechanics such as ironworking and bug catching. You’ll also get to explore a new cave system, join unique clan festivals, and sail the seas on a raft.
To celebrate, Roots of Pacha is also 50% off for a limited time across all platforms. And if you’re looking to play with friends, the update includes full crossplay co-op support and is available in multiple languages.
Free Update 4 for Planet Coaster 2
Planet Coaster 2 just had the release of Update 4! This free update introduces restaurants to your park-building toolkit, giving you the chance to design custom dining spaces or drop in pre-made blueprints for quick and easy fun.
Update 4 also adds even more ways to make your parks your own, including new customisation options for pool water, pool tiles, and decorative water shapes. Plus, players will find improvements to Franchise mode, the in-game Workshop, and enhanced guest movement throughout parks.
Classic coaster fans can look forward to de-themed versions of two coasters and one flat ride from the original Planet Coaster, reimagined for Planet Coaster 2. There’s also added ride info in blueprint tooltips, price balancing, and a long list of bug fixes and stability improvements, all based on player feedback.
You can check out the full patch notes on the official Planet Coaster 2 site.
Tiny Shop: Make it Cozy Revealed
Solo developer and architect Rostislav Nikolaev has revealed Tiny Shop: Make It Cozy, a soothing shop simulator focused on atmosphere, decor, and the gentle pace of everyday life. Set to release in Q1 2026 on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch, this title invites you to transform a small street-side shop into a cozy haven for customers who cherish comfort and nostalgia.
In Tiny Shop, you’ll decorate your store with handmade goods, flea market finds, and seasonal items while responding to your customers’ unique preferences, whether they’re seeking a knit scarf or a porcelain cup from their past. By day, welcome familiar faces and curate your shop’s style; by night, enjoy quiet moments redesigning your space in a rhythm that encourages relaxation.
It’ll be a while before the game makes it to Steam and Switch, but we will keep an eye on it!
Dinkum Officially Launches on Steam
After a successful Early Access run, Dinkum has officially launched on Steam. Developed by solo Aussie creator James Bendon and published by KRAFTON, Inc., the full release marks a major milestone for the cozy outback-themed life sim that has very positive reviews on Steam.
Set on a rugged island inspired by the Australian wilderness, Dinkum blends farming, fishing, hunting, and town-building with a warm, laid-back charm. There’s also an upgraded multiplayer experience with customizable permissions, new crafting features like a two-seater aircraft and Bug Terrarium, and a Guest House system to welcome more NPCs to your town.

Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy Out on Steam
Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy is out now on Steam!
This week Kalina reviewed the game and gave it our highest score of Two Thumbs Up. She wrote in conclusion:
“Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy is a game I’ve been waiting for for a long time. In some ways, I’ve been waiting for it since it came out in 1999. I like this trend of old classics being remade. I hope it continues. Also, Microids has been on a roll the last few years, at least when it comes to games in the genres I like. Between Amerzone and the previous year’s Arsene Lupin game and the reimagined Hercule Poirot games, the second of which is expected sometime this year, it is a good time to be a gamer.
There’s always a need for good quality adventure games, and Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy is precisely that. It has enough to be a proper tribute to an already great game and a great creator, yet it also stands on its own. It’s a gorgeous, well-crafted game with smooth gameplay, no technical hiccups, great puzzles, and a well-crafted in-game world. So, if you love adventure games, you should try Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy. You’ll probably love it as much as I did.”
All the more reason to check it out!
Easy Delivery Co. Announced for Steam
A new indie title has just pulled up with a cosy, curious twist. Easy Delivery Co. has been officially revealed, and there’s a free demo you can check out on Steam.
Set in a snowy, peaceful mountain town, Easy Delivery Co. puts you in the driver’s seat as a local delivery driver, navigating strange weather, quirky residents, and a few secrets that seem to linger just beneath the surface. While the gameplay leans into laid-back vibes, you’ll still need to manage fuel, energy, and temperature to stay on the road.
Alongside the demo, a reveal trailer shows off the game’s snowy setting, physics-driven deliveries, and a unique local race mode for up to four players. You can also unlock radio towers featuring Lo-Fi, Drum n Bass, and Jungle music to soundtrack your shifts.
