Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile is Coming
Microids and Microids Studio Lyon have just announced Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile, a modern twist on the Queen of Crime’s iconic novel, with a launch date of 25 September 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
You’ll be stepping into the shoes of not one, but two investigators: legendary Hercule Poirot and a brand-new character, detective Jane Royce. It looks like you’ll alternate between their distinct approaches, blending Poirot’s razor-sharp reasoning with Royce’s keen intuition as you interrogate suspects, cross-reference testimonies, and untangle clues from London to Egypt.
While it stays true to the essence of the original novel, this adaptation looks to shake things up with bold new twists. Fans of Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express will find themselves right at home, though even seasoned sleuths may be thrown off by surprises hidden in this reimagined journey.
If you’re in the UK, there is Limited Edition. It includes:
- The full Death on the Nile game
- A beautiful 48-page artbook, “The Art of Death on the Nile”
- A sleek bookmark
- The original soundtrack (in digital format)
The story kicks off with a tranquil cruise that descends into deadly intrigue. With crime unfolding across glamorous locales like Mallorca and New York, it looks like the action will build up to a dramatic climax in Abu Simbel, where Poirot and Royce finally join forces to crack the case.

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker Demo
If you loved Tavern Talk, then you might be interested in Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker. It’s developer Gentle Troll’s latest cosy visual novel, and it looks like it’s brewing something magical. Set 36 years before the original game, this new adventure invites you to step into the role of a fate-mixing Tavernkeep at the seaside haven known as The Drowsy Dragon.
It looks like you’ll be crafting magical drinks that shape the destinies of mercenaries, sailors, and adventurers alike. You’ll gather rumours from your patrons and turn them into quests, all while trying to stop dreams from spiralling into nightmares. And with multiple solutions to each challenge, your choices really matter.
You can expect a colourful cast inspired by tabletop roleplaying games, each with their own quirks and stories to uncover. The game introduces four characters and drinks in its first demo (available on Steam(, which offers around 30 minutes of gameplay to whet your appetite.
It looks like a rich, narrative-driven experience. You’ll be able to unlock three unique endings, depending on how you guide your guests and shape their fates.

DLC and Update Tiny Garden
Summer has also arrived in Tiny Garden, and with it comes a brand-new cosmetic DLC: the Summer Breeze Cosmetic Pack. If you’re into customising your little garden space, this pack introduces some charming new items. You’ll have access to six fresh furniture pieces, from a flamingo and inflatable pool to a sandcastle and hammock, plus one surprise item chosen by the community. Your Tiny Garden toy’s getting some love too, with four stickers and two recolours to play with.
You can also set the scene with two new backgrounds and a gentle music track crafted just for this DLC. It’s available now on Steam for £2.49 / $2.99 / €2.99, thanks to the teams at Super Rare Originals and Ao Norte.
A free content update has launched for all players as well. This update expands your gardening toolkit with six new plants (including Melons, Date Palm Trees, and Rockrose) and introduces a new ‘Dune’ tile, useful for cultivating summer-themed seeds. You’ll also find more control over your garden’s soundtrack with a new in-game jukebox, and a handy parasol for shading your plants as you explore new varieties.
I truly loved Tiny Garden when I reviewed it, and as I always love playing on my Switch, I can honestly say this is a game I would double-dip for!

Twin Rabbits on an Adventure
If you’re after a short, non-violent co-op platformer, Buns on Parade might be one to keep on your radar. It’s a multiplayer-only game, playable online or locally, that follows two twin rabbits on a summer break in the countryside. Bored with the slow pace of rural life, they decide to broadcast their favourite song to the world by climbing a nearby radio tower.
The game looks colourful and light-hearted, with a focus on teamwork and music rather than combat. It was developed as a small-scale experiment in netplay and storytelling, and it’s completely free to download and play, no monetisation involved.
If you’re looking for people to play with, the Groundwater Community Discord server is a good place to start.

New Gameplay Trailer for Bee Simulator: The Hive
Bee Simulator: The Hive is returning with a new gameplay trailer and an updated experience that builds on the original release from 2019. Developed by VARSAV Game Studios and published by Untold Tales, this expanded edition introduces The Hive, an add-on that includes additional mechanics, content, and a new colony-building feature.
Players will be able to create and customize their own beehive colony, gather resources, establish outposts, and unlock buildings to build a functioning home for their bee swarm. The updated game also features jet stream traversal, mini-games, and cooperative maps that can be played solo.
The PC version of Bee Simulator: The Hive will launch on Monday, August 4, 2025, through platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store. Versions for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox are planned for release later in the year.

Catto’s Post Office Soon on Steam
Catto’s Post Office, developed by In Shambles Studio and published by CULT Games, will be released on Steam on August 4, 2025. The game is priced at $4.99 USD and will launch with a 20% discount.
Players take on the role of Catto, a cat delivering mail in a seaside town populated by feline residents. The game features a small open world with buildings to explore, including a bakery, florist, and café. Players can interact with the environment, complete deliveries, and engage in dialogue with various characters.
Additional gameplay elements include hiding in boxes, knocking over objects, and using a dedicated button to meow. The story centers around Catto’s birthday, which appears to have been forgotten by the townsfolk.
Designed to be completed in about an hour, Catto’s Post Office offers a short narrative experience focused on exploration and lighthearted interactions.

Viewfinder on Xbox, Switch this Winter
Viewfinder, the multi-award-winning puzzle adventure from Sad Owl Studios and Thunderful, is expanding its platform reach. Currently available on PC and PlayStation, it’s set to launch on Xbox Series X|S on August 12, with a Nintendo Switch release following this winter.
Mina truly adored the game as you can read in her review, and even made a set of guides for when you’re stuck!
Players dive into a mind-bending first-person experience where photographs, sketches, and postcards aren’t just visuals, they’re tools to reshape reality. The game’s narrative explores human emotion, loss, and the drive for change, while offering both an accessible puzzle journey and deeper lore for curious minds.
Recognised by the BAFTA Games Awards and UKIE Video Game Awards in 2024, Viewfindercontinues to build on its reputation as an innovative and emotionally resonant title.

Tekken Content in Atelier Yumia
KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Gust, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, have just launched a burst of crossover excitement for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. Content inspired by the Tekken series, Bandai Namco’s legendary 3D fighting franchise, is now available for free in the alchemy-driven JRPG. Players across all major platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows PC via Steam, and—for the first time in the Atelier series—Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, can now experience this crossover.
The new downloadable content infuses Atelier Yumia with Tekken-style flair, bringing a unique blend of high-energy combat and whimsical alchemy. Yumia, the game’s protagonist, now has access to a costume inspired by Reina from Tekken, along with a special accessory and two flashy finishing moves designed to echo Tekken’s dynamic battle style. These additions arrive with themed quests that further weave the collaboration into the game’s narrative.
Beyond the Tekken crossover, the latest update has also introduced new paid content. The “Fantasy Academy Costume Set” transforms the characters’ look with a series of vibrant and imaginative outfits, while the expansion pack “The Art of Aladiss” brings fresh recipes and blueprints to expand the alchemical possibilities. For those who’ve purchased the Season Pass, this new content comes at no extra cost—otherwise, it’s available separately.
