In this article, we continue our coverage of upcoming games that featured in Nintendo’s Indie World presentation. Below I’ve highlighted a further five titles featured in Nintendo’s latest Indie showcase. Let’s get to it!
Northgard
Strategy games are popular at LadiesGamers. In Northgard, you control a group of Vikings that seek to conquer and set up home in Northguard. The game’s key features listed on Nintendo UK are:
* Assign various jobs to Vikings (Farmer, Warrior, Sailor, Loremaster etc.)
* Manage resources carefully and survive harsh winters and vicious foes
* Expand and discover new territory with unique strategic opportunities
* Achieve different victory conditions (Conquest, Fame, Lore, Trading etc.)
* Play against your friends or an AI with varying levels of difficulty and personalities
* Enjoy dedicated servers and grind the ranks to reach the final Norse God rank!
Northgard will launch for Nintendo Switch on 18th September.
The Touryst
This November, you’ll be able to explore the exotic Monument Islands on Nintendo Switch. While many will be feeling winters chill, you can explore beautiful islands, visit amusement arcades, and enjoy deep-sea diving. And who’s the elderly tourist that’s so knowledgable about ancient monuments? You’ll be able to this and more when The Touryst launches for Switch this Winter.
Roki
Roki is an adventure game based off Scandinavian folklore. Join Tove on “a journey that takes her deep into a hidden and long-forgotten world of lost folklore, filled with strange locations, and even stranger creatures” (Nintendo UK)
Roki will launch on Nintendo Switch this Winter.
EarthNight
EarthNight is a 2D Platformer in which you play as Sydney and Stanley. Dragons have taken over the planet and humanity has been exiled into space. In an attempt to fight back, Sydney and Stanley must skydive back to earth jumping, landing, running, and falling off the back of dragons.
EarthNight is set to launch on Switch later this year.
Dungeon Defenders Awakened
An official press describes Dungeon Defenders as: “a complete reimagining of the eight-year-old indie sensation.”
The game challenges players too, “Defend [their] castle against the invading hordes as you revisit familiar locations with terrible new enemies and shocking surprises.
The game is due to release for Nintendo Switch later this year.
That’s it for now.

Earthnight seems very cool! And i like th touryst. Not sure what to make out of it, what type of game it is.
I’m having a hard time finding the right game for me too. The showcase is a fast paced affair with loud music, difficult to find our kinda games!
