Originally expected this October, Woodsalt on Switch is delayed till December 9th. A bit longer to wait then!

Woodsalt is an adventure game inspired by JRPG’s like Final Fantasy and Persona. Which means focus on dialogue choices and relationship building. But there’s no combat in the game, as it purely focuses on advancing the story to its multiple endings. The game is set on the planet of Nu-Terra after Earth was evacuated, where  Emcy wakes up to find himself caught in a struggle between the people who wish to return to Earth and those who wish to remain.

Want to Show Your Love for Animal Crossing Anywhere?

As a big fan of Animal Crossing I love showing my love for the series to the world by a little dangle on my phone or a keychain on my handbag. Would I wear something that has Animal Crossing print all over? I don’t think I would, gotta consider my age, lol. Still, this clothing line from BlackMilk looks amazing. Check it out here.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy has Western Release Date

The second game for Atelier Ryza, the Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy has a date: 26th January in North America and 29th January in Europe. Once more, we can embark on all-new adventure to the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird and explore ancient ruins while seeking the truth behind the mystery of the lost legends!

Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is Coming to Switch this Fall

Oceanhorn 2 is cole: expected on the Switch this fall! The game is a direct sequel of Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas that launched in 2013. The games clearly take their inspiration from The Legend of Zelda, not a bad thing though!

The sequel is really more of a prequel, it takes place one thousand years before the first game. It takes place on the world of Gaia, and in true Zelda fashion, there are several hidden mysteries and lore to explore. A young Knight is sent on an adventure to unite the Owrus, Gillfolk, and men against Warlock Mesmeroth and the Dark Army. Trin, the granddaughter of Arcadia’s leader Archimedes, and Gen, a mysterious robot wielding an old samurai weapon join the Knight.

Art Sqool, Something Different on the Switch

Art Sqool is an experimental school simulation game that combines exploration with a series of creative tasks for the player to complete. Take on the role Froshmin, a freshman who just wants to create art, explore the quirky campus, and get to work on the tasks given to you by the professor. The professor serves as your advisor and also judges your work, giving you grades depending on how well you’ve managed to complete each task.

The Switch may be the best console to play the game on, with new touchscreen and stylus support being implemented to make the most out of Art Sqool.

Pretty Princess Party on the Nintendo Switch allows you to explore a long-abandoned castle, decorating, training, and unlocking hundreds of items. Begin by creating a princess character with endless choices of dresses, shoes, accessories, and hairstyles.

Then learn how to be a princess by playing six different fun mini-games, including cake decorating, horse racing, and dancing. Successfully completing the games will open up new outfit choices and allow you to unlock hundreds of unique items to decorate your castle’s 20 rooms – over 1,300 items total! Once the rooms are decorated, you can take commemorative photos to show off your royal style! Even after completing the entire magical story, you can take on new challenge objectives to update rooms and photographs.

From the March Indie world Showcase: Baldo

Baldo is an adventure RPG that looks a bit like Ni no Kuni in graphics. But this isn’t a linear RPG, but rather and open world game. You will find it full of puzzles, wonderful gameplay and complex dungeons.

Travelling around the world, Baldo will interact with many weird and funny characters scattered everywhere, to complete the main story quest and many other side-quests. Discovering new towns and people, fighting enemies, locating hidden temples and collecting objects to get new weapons or items to use.

No date yet, but it’s good to know progress is going well!

Kickstarter Beasts of Maravilla Island Joins WhiteThorn Games

Recently funded kickstarter Beasts of Maravilla Island developers Banana Bird Studios partnered with publisher WhiteThorn games to bring the game to not only the Switch but also to the Xbox, PC and PS4. They are pushing for a release window of early 2021.
