Welcome. It’s time to look at the Upcoming Steam Games in May 2026 that we have on our radar. However, aside from our Upcoming Steam Games, if you play on Nintendo Switch, we also have an Upcoming Switch and Switch 2 Games article.
Upcoming Steam Games
Furthermore, not all games to be released are listed here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking note of these games, and you can expect reviews for many of them if given half the chance. It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Steam website.
Lost in Ark: a miniature realm – June 1st

Lose yourself in a unique and colorful universe of real miniature artworks. While you travel across mythical and historical lands, discover long-forgotten tales, dive into Eastern mythology, and unravel the mysteries hidden within the unique puzzles.
During this journey through the 16th to 18th centuries of Ottoman and Persian culture, you’ll also meet people from diverse backgrounds, face ancient creatures, wander through streets and palaces, and be a part of exciting historical events.
This once enchanting world is now on the verge of being forgotten. It is in your hands to solve the mysteries and puzzles and bring the miniature universe back to life.
Swan Song – June 4th

Swan Song is a cozy puzzle game that invites you to slow down, listen, and reflect. Set inside a magical music box, each puzzle asks players to place notes on a musical scale. When you turn the key, the composition plays, activating platforms and opening paths that guide a small swan to safety.
Each puzzle is a piece of music waiting to be written. Place musical notes on your scale. Their position determines which platforms activate when the melody plays. Once you’ve composed your solution, turn the key and let the music guide the swan through the level.
Perfect timing and thoughtful placement are the keys to success. Between puzzles, a touching narrative slowly unfolds, revealing the story of the music box’s creator and the family it was made for.
Ruibai reviewed Swan Song and liked it and said this in her conclusion;
Overall, the puzzles in Swan Song are well-designed with interesting mechanics, but a built-in hint system would make this game more accessible to casual players. While a bit too dark for my personal tastes, I also enjoyed the unconventional way in which the story is presented.
Spirit Talk – Cozy Visual Novel – June 8th

Cozy visual novel about a lovely witch who’s able to talk to spirits in a fantasy setting. Using her powers, Julia helps her neighbors in their daily whereabouts. Craft potions, find the right time to use them and get to know both spirits and clients to find their peace.
Yvonne reviewed Spirit Talk and liked it a lot, saying in conclusion:
Spirit Talk is a charming and approachable visual novel that succeeds through its personality, relatable storytelling, and lovely artwork. The focus is on the storytelling; maybe the potion making could be a bit more challenging, and it could benefit from a few quality-of-life improvements. However, it more than makes up for this with warmth, humour, and a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s a game I can easily to recommend, especially for players looking for a cosy, low-stakes narrative experience.
Solarpunk – June 8th

Solarpunk is a survival game in a technically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with your friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and hop on your airship to explore distant islands in the sky.
Lynne played Solar Punk for us, and gave it our highest rating, saying in conclusion:
It’s clear to tell that Solarpunk has been created with passion, from every placed flower making the environment look natural, to the sounds of wood crackling in the furnace, from the carefully planned upgrade path, to the numerous building options.
In my eyes, Solarpunk is something truly special, containing everything I want from a game: gathering, harvesting, exploring, crafting, building and decorating. There are a few niggles, but they don’t detract from the amazing scenery, the structured gameplay and the sheer enjoyment of creating a dream home, garden and farm.

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker – June 9th

In this D&D-inspired visual novel, you will run a cozy seaside tavern, meet adventurers, gather rumours and mix fate-altering drinks to stop dreams from twisting into nightmares.
You find yourself in a little, bleary portside town in the south-east of Phesoa. There, 36 years before the events of Tavern Talk, you dive into the role of the Tavernkeep, the owner of The Drowsy Dragon, a small quayside bar on the coast of Borkam.
You have a special ability, gifted by one of the Great Dragon Gods or acquired through wizardly hubris: Mixing magic drinks that can alter the fate of your guests—be it mean mercenaries, savvy sailors or ambitious adventurers. Every guest, no matter who they are, has a place in your warm tavern by the seaside.
In The Drowsy Dragon, fate is not written in the stars; it is written in the menu! Mix unique drinks from a wide ensemble of magical potions—but be aware: There is more than one solution!
As you listen to stories brimming with the spirit of adventure, you sit within the cozy walls of your tavern and pick up rumours to turn them into quests. Some of them are old sailors’ yarn, so sort them thoroughly before sticking them up the wall!
As you meet new and familiar faces, all seems well. Your establishment is flourishing and friendships are made. All until something starts brewing on the horizon, something that’s going to twist your brightest dreams into your darkest nightmares.
Kalina loved Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker, and gave it a Two Thumbs Up:
Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker is a delightful new story set within the Tavern Talk universe. It has all the winning elements from the previous game, and I can only hope that this will not be the last we see of the land of Phesoa and its quirky characters.
Beastro – June 11th

Palo Pori is a beautiful and peaceful village of artisans and tastemakers. Beyond the village’s protective wall, darkness has begun to stir. Ravenous monsters have claimed the land and threaten to sink their teeth into this final morsel of hope and happiness.
Play as Panko, a young, talented chef, helping to run the local eatery. When Panko’s teacher goes missing, a mysterious visitor arrives with warnings of the dangers beyond the wall. It’s up to Panko to step up and take over the restaurant and tend to the ingredients and patrons. But that’s not all, Panko also finds himself serving the Caretakers, brave adventurers, sent to save the world. In this adventure, preserving peace starts in the kitchen!
James reviewed Beastro and loved it, giving it our highest score of Two Thumbs Up:
Beastro feels like a cosy player’s dream. It successfully combines farming, restaurant management, cooking minigames and deck-building roguelite mechanics into something that feels surprisingly cohesive. Not every element is explained perfectly, and some of the systems can initially feel a little confusing. The boss encounters occasionally felt harsher than I would have liked, too.
Yet despite those issues, I found myself consistently enjoying my time with it. What impressed me most is how welcoming the game feels. It never seems interested in punishing the player. Instead, it gently encourages you forward, allowing you to learn, experiment and progress at your own pace. If you’re someone who enjoys cosy games and have perhaps been intimidated by more demanding roguelites in the past, Beastro might be exactly the kind of gateway experience you’re looking for.
And if you simply want to spend your evenings growing vegetables, cooking meals, petting strange farm animals and helping save the world one dinner plate at a time, there’s plenty here to love.
Pawsome Resort – June 22nd

Pawsome Resort is a cozy life sim where you run an animal hotel in a charming pixel-art village. Design your resort, care for cute animals, grow crops, craft things, complete quests, and bond with villagers. With farming and RPG elements, it’s a perfect cozy escape.
Momento – June

Momento is a cozy room decorator with a twist: the choices you make play out over the course of a lifetime! Decorate your room, choose which items are important to you, and discover how the objects you choose will alter the course of the story, in a winding ode to the power of everyday things.
