Upcoming Steam Games March 2025

Welcome. It’s time to look at the Upcoming Steam Games in March 2025 that we have on our radar. But aside from our Upcoming Steam Games, if you play on Nintendo Switch, we also have an Upcoming Switch Games article.

Upcoming Steam Games

Furthermore, not all games to be released are on the list here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking notice of these games, and you can expect reviews for many of them if given half a chance! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Steam website.

Two Point Museum – March 4th

Upcoming Steam Games

Curate and manage incredible museums! As fledgling curators, you have the task of designing and refining your very own museums to create the ultimate guest experience. Coordinate Experts on far-flung expeditions to discover new Exhibits, generating Buzz to entice droves of knowledge-hungry guests who will expect top info-tainment if they’re to leave impressed. This is all while you keep your Exhibits safe, rooms clean, staff happy… and children off the dinosaur bones.

I reviewed Two Point Museum and gave it our highest score of Two Thumbs up.

With its blend of humour, creativity, and engaging management mechanics, Two Point Museum is another success for Two Point Studios. The two previous games are great, as well. However, I think that with Two Point Museum, the developers have really hit their stride with developing a solid simulation game. It captures the magic of running a museum while keeping things lighthearted and fun, making it a very easy recommendation for all fans of the genre.

Merchants of Rosewall – March 4th

Upcoming Steam Games

As a new Merchant in the bustling city of Rosewall you’ll manage your own shop, craft artisan goods, hire Companions, and even unravel a mystery of the city! Immerse yourself in a fantasy world where conflict is a thing of the past in this visual novel meets shopkeeper simulator.

Grimoire Groves – March 4th

Upcoming Steam Games

Join the witches in their quest to restore the Grimoire Groves! Master magic, grow cute plant creatures and discover the mystery of the Rainbow Socks in this cosy, rogue-lite dungeon crawler.

Home to magical creatures and plants, the fabled Grimoire Groves should’ve been a haven for witches looking for a new home. But by the time they arrived, the forest spirits had disappeared, and only a few plant creatures had remained. But not all is lost. With a little hard work, investigation and magic, the witches might just restore the Grimoire Groves to the lush forest it once was!

Margaret reviewed Grimoire Groves and said this in her conclusion:

Grimoire Groves has an active ad campaign that claims some of its early players are calling it a mix of Hades and Animal Crossing. It is neither of those things. The NPCs aren’t dynamic, they aren’t your neighbors, and they will become the source of your headaches. The combat isn’t Hades, because it quickly becomes onerous and grindy, and I felt zero joy when I beat the first boss. The combat isn’t smooth, either; aiming your spells is inexact, and only the lack of enemy damage keeps that from being a gamekiller itself.

This is a game I desperately looked forward to, and I work hard to be gentle in my reviews, because I can admire the effort. I wanted to be gentle this time, but my partner put his hand on my arm and pointed out that I literally screamed at my Steam Deck in frustration.

Grimoire Groves is polished and pretty, put together by people who clearly know what they’re doing, and yet somehow forgot to make the game loop fun to repeat. I cannot recommend it. It made me angry and unhappy to continue, and nothing was satisfying about the loop or its characters. I hope it will improve, but it’s going to take a lot to bring me around for another try.

Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat – March 6th

Upcoming Steam Games

Relax in Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat, an idle game where you join Bao Bao, a charming panda, in creating the cosiest laundromat. Purchase colourful washing machines, add delightful decorations, and hire panda helpers. Watch your cosy laundromat bustle with life.

Step into the warm and welcoming world of Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat, where our lovable panda, Bao Bao, is eager to share her dream with you. Starting with just 500, you’ll help Bao Bao transform a humble beginning into a bustling haven of cleanliness and charm. Picture rows of vibrant, colourful washing machines humming gently alongside dryers that turn laundry day into a soothing ritual. But it’s not just about washing clothes—it’s about creating a space that feels like home.

Mina reviewed Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat and said this in her conclusion:

Overall, Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat is one of the best idle background games I’ve played in a long time. I adore the artwork, and the music is so good and relaxing. I love my little laundromat so much, and I can’t wait to keep it going.

Morkull Ragast’s Rage – March 6th

Upcoming Steam Games

Morkull Ragast’s Rage is a 2D video game that combines platforming and action with a touch of exploration. You control Morkull, the villain of the story, who knows that he is a character in a video game, the existence of a player who controls him (that is, you) and of some developers who have created him. Your objective? Help Morkull escape from the Ragast so he can rule and carry out his evil plans around the world.

James reviewed Morkull Ragast’s Rage and said this in his conclusion:

Morkull Ragast’s Rage doesn’t bring a ton of new ideas to the table, but what it offers is a solid, well-crafted platforming adventure with a lot of personality. Morkull himself is a fantastic lead, carrying the game with his quirky humour and fourth-wall-breaking antics. The gameplay is tight and enjoyable, though combat can be hit-or-miss, and navigation issues may test your patience.

The difficulty makes it best suited for experienced players, as the punishing soul-loss system and challenging encounters may frustrate more casual players. But if you’re up for a tough but rewarding platforming experience, Morkull Ragast’s Rage delivers a fun, chaotic ride through a beautifully animated, villainous adventure.

Slime Heroes – March 6th

Upcoming Steam Games

You are the last slime and the only one who can save your home from the corruption of consuming it. Play alone or with a friend to find different weapons, dynamically create your own magical abilities, and express the way you want to adventure.

Explore a whimsical world filled with secret passageways, challenging puzzle dungeons, and forgotten treasures. Consume special gems and dynamically combine them to create unique magical skills. Level up and fight back against the corrupted minions to restore the land.

Sugardew Island – March 7th

Upcoming Steam Games

In this cozy farming game, you have to run your own farm shop. Take care of your animals and your farm, sell your goods to the cute Forest Folk, upgrade the island and fulfil small orders from the Harmony Tree to fill the island with life again.

Sugardew Island is an intentionally uncomplicated cozy farm shop sim crafted by a tiny indie dev team.

Lynne reviewed Sugardew Island and said this in her conclusion:

There is a lot to like about Sugardew Island. The Forest Folk are so cute as they run into the shop to purchase the items you’ve worked hard to produce. The colourful graphics, delightful animals, and straightforward gameplay are appealing, and although the island locals aren’t the most chatty, it’s fun to learn about their stories.

However, with the issues around upgrading tools and the numerous software crashes, I can’t recommend Sugardew Island at this time. Hopefully, the developers will hack away these thorny problems very quickly because there is an adorable farm shop simulation game waiting for us on Sugardew Island.

Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn – March 7th

Upcoming Steam Games

Strategy meets mischief! Explore an amazing and lush fantasy world where an epic battle between Trolls, Vikings and the Nordic Gods rages on. Get ready to don your tactical horns and dive into Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn, where strategy is king, trolls reign supreme

.Get ready to don your tactical horns (and maybe a trollish grin) for the ultimate strategy showdown. Building on the beloved original that enthralled over 1.3 million players and got massive nods from players, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Google, this premium edition cranks the epic dial to 11 with tons of new features and upgrades.

Margaret reviewed Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn and said this in her conclusion:

Trolls vs. Vikings: Reborn isn’t reinventing the tower defense genre, but for those who love the simple yet complex options of similar games like Plants vs. Zombies, this is going to be a welcome treat. With accessible difficulty and intuitive handling, it’s easy to drop a lot of time noodling around with your tactical options, feeling clever until you’re ready to up the heat on yourself. That makes Trolls vs. Vikings a good contender for your first tower defense-style game, too.

For those who like tougher challenges, Trolls vs. Vikings has your back, too. The Valhalla difficulty challenges are exactly that: beat them, and you can rest knowing that Odin himself might admire your strategic wits. Me, I’ll be in the back playing Normal with the old dude’s ravens, Hugin and Munin. They cheat, but they’re good listeners.

Alex Hill: Whispers at White Oak Inn – March 7th

Upcoming Steam Games

A young woman died near the White Oak Inn. Now, her spirit is roaming around, and an employee is receiving strange letters. What dark secrets wait to be found? The clock is ticking, and you, as Alex Hill, must uncover the truth before it’s too late.

Wanderstop – March 11th

Upcoming Steam Games

Wanderstop is a narrative-centric, cosy game about change and tea. Playing as a fallen fighter named Alta, you’ll manage a tea shop within a magical forest and tend to the customers who pass through. But Alta does not want to be here. And if she gets her way, the tea shop will be nothing but a brief and painful memory.

Wanderstop is a tea shop management ritual. Grow and harvest the ingredients needed for tea, and then mix them together in an unusual tea-making contraption. Along the way, speak with the many travellers who pass through the shop, learn their stories and make a tea that’s just right for them.

Kalina reviewed Wanderstop and said this in her conclusion:

Wanderstop easily became one of my favorite games ever, not only because it combined all of my favorite things but also because of its heart and humor. I completed the game in about 11 hours, and while I was satisfied with its length, I wouldn’t mind meeting the characters again. I will surely miss Boro and Alta.

If you like tea, magical farming, and gorgeous cozy fantasy, you will probably love Wanderstop as much as I did.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land – March 21st

Upcoming Steam Games

Atelier Yumia is a story about memory. Explore the field to gather materials and synthesize items. The items you create can be key to advancing the story and can also be used in battles and exploration.

Collect, combat, create. The journey with your companions will be filled with various “experiences”.

Yvonne reviewed Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land and said this in her conclusion:

I must admit to looking back longingly to the fighting and synthesising systems in Atelier Ryza and earlier games. The fighting feels too much like button mashing for me, and I miss all the complexity of older Atelier games. But I get that Gust wants to insert new things into each game and maybe make the Atelier games accessible to new players, and it all comes down to personal preference.

That being said, the building part of Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is a nice addition. I love the exploration part; I’m just curious about what’s around the corner. The deep narrative and the way alchemy is portrayed made me instantly like Yumia—no overly enthusiastic youngster but a quiet girl with a history.

This is a good successor to the Secret trilogy and a great entry point for newcomers.

SOPA – Tale of the Stolen Potato – March 25th

Upcoming Steam Games
