Caroline reviewed Battlefield Waltz and had this to say:
I would recommend Battlefield Waltz, if only for the world-building. That is where the game truly shines, but I wish they had done more in the story with the Cursed Sword. Overall, I did have fun playing the game.
Star Overdrive – April 10th

Race across an alien planet on your Hoverboard in this high-speed action adventure. Master tricks, solve puzzles, battle enemies, and shape your destiny!
Set off on a high-speed Hoverboard adventure in Star Overdrive, where fast-paced action collides with the mysteries of a distant alien world. After intercepting a cryptic distress signal, you, the protagonist Bios, find yourself stranded on an enigmatic planet called Cebete. Armed with your versatile Keytar and advanced Hoverboard, you’ll navigate diverse biomes, confront challenges, evolve your hidden powers, and uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of your beloved Nous.
James reviewed Star Overdrive and said this in his conclusion:
Star Overdrive is one of those games that might fly under the radar but deserves a second look from anyone who loves exploration-focused games with strong traversal mechanics. Its combat is light, and some systems (like crafting) could use more clarity, but these are small blemishes in what is otherwise a smooth, satisfying ride. It won’t appeal to every type of gamer, and those looking for fast-paced action or tightly directed stories might find it too laid-back. However, for players who love open-world discovery and creative movement, there’s a lot to love here. The hoverboard alone is worth the price of admission. If you want a taste a free demo is available on the eShop.

Pilo and the Holobook is an exploration-based adventure game set in a colourful galaxy. You guide Pilo, an apprentice explorer, on a journey to document the universe’s wonders and solve mysteries. Using the Holobook, a powerful encyclopedia-like tool, Pilo collects stickers to record his discoveries and uncover the story behind a mysterious dark force known as the Tar.
Mina reviewed Pilo and the Holobook and said this in her conclusion:
Overall, I think Pilo and the Holobook is a great little game. It’s polished, it’s cute, and it’s pretty chill to play. With a hint system, I think it would be the perfect game for kids and families and everyone who like wholesome, fun games with simple interactions.
Wind Story – April 10th

Wind Story is a pixel-style simulation RPG game. Upon arriving at Wind Chime Ranch, players can immerse themselves in rural lifestyles, including farming, breeding, and fishing. During the day, they can freely roam the Ranch’s flower fields, while at night, they can enjoy drinking and dancing by the lakeside bonfire.
Players can attract more visitors to the ranch, gradually building their accommodations, windmills, powerhouses, and restaurants. They can cultivate a variety of vegetables, flowers, and fruits and raise diverse animals.
Yvonne reviewed Wind Story and had this to say in her conclusion:
Wind Story has a great description, but sadly, it doesn’t live up to that in any way. This should have gone into Early Access for a much lower price. As it is now, I have no other option but to give a negative verdict.
PROGRESS ORDERS – April 10th

Progress Orders is the guild where many adventurers meet. Your unique story begins as you support your companions as the guild master!
The protagonist, who has been alone, is led to the guild after finding a letter from their grandfather. Though the grandfather is nowhere to be found at the guild, the protagonist decides to work there in search of more clues. Through a ritual to become the guild staff member, the protagonist gains the ability of “Clairvoyance”, which allows seeing and hearing through the eyes of others.
Rusty Rabbit – April 17th

Humankind abandoned Earth as it entered another ice age. Over time, those who came to hold dominion over the world were… rabbits!?
After humanity left, the rabbits referred to humans as “giants” and revered the massive ruins left behind as “Smokestack Mountain.” Those fearless enough to violate and excavate this sacred site are known as “rust diggers.” The protagonist, an old rabbit named Stamp, is one such rust digger, making a daily routine of excavating Smokestack Mountain.
James reviewed Rusty Rabbit and said this:
Rusty Rabbit is a thoroughly enjoyable mech-hopping adventure. It blends quirky humour, heartfelt storytelling, and satisfying action in a way few games dare to. Yes, the cutscenes can break the pacing, and the Switch version isn’t flawless, but the charm and originality more than make up for it.
If you’re looking for something that feels different, something that proves middle-aged rabbits (and gamers) still have plenty of kick left in them, this is one worth digging up. A free demo is also available on the eShop.
LUNAR Remastered Collection – April 18th

The timeless classics from the Silver Star make their return after 25 years! Dive into the enchanting worlds of LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete and LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete, two beloved JRPGS that have captured the hearts of gamers for generations.
LUNAR: Silver Star Story introduces Alex, an aspiring Dragonmaster who bands together with his friends to combat the perilous emergence of the Magic Emperor and stop him from taking over the world.
LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue picks up a thousand years later and follows Hiro and his friends as they set out in search of the Goddess Althena alongside an enigmatic girl named Lucia. On this grand quest, fend off enemies like Borgan and White Knight Leo, who hunt down the group to eradicate what they deem to be the “Destroyer of Lunar.”
Margaret reviewed LUNAR Remastered Collection and gave it our highest score of Two Thumbs Up:
The Lunar Remastered Collection is a thoughtfully prepared revival of a truly classic JRPG series, bringing back two games that are nostalgia incarnate for the dedicated fan and an approachable bit of history for new players. With rebalanced difficulty, a modernized inventory, zippier combat, cleaned-up visuals, and the meat of these classic stories otherwise untouched, this is a brilliant example of how to bring back the biggest moments of gaming history without wrecking the shop.
With the best two games in the Lunar saga now more accessible than ever, it’s a no-brainer of a choice for RPG fans who love the straightforward simplicity of our older turn-based games. For players used to the fancy options of modern RPGs like Avowed and Dragon Age, the Lunar Remastered Collection may feel too much like a step back. But if you love a good story, it’s still worth the time and investment to see why the genre still thrives, even in the shadow of glitzy triple-A action games.
