Get in the Holiday Season Mood with Fantastic Findings

Fantastic Findings is a festive 3D hidden object game that’s expected to launch in November 2025. You’ll help Santa track down his missing reindeer while exploring cosy, colourful levels packed with holiday surprises—from international treats to ugly sweaters and glittering decorations.

It looks like a highly detailed game where you’ll search drawers, unwrap gifts, and clean away cobwebs to uncover hidden cookies and earn a perfect score. Each level features a cheerful Christmas soundtrack, and you’ll visit places like Santa’s Home and a holiday museum via his express train. With levers to pull, containers to unlock, and plenty of edible items to collect, this one’s shaping up to be a joyful seasonal hunt.

The indiedev making Fantastic Findings began making it 4 years ago, so her Mum, who was unfamiliar with gaming, could try a game that would be perfect for her!

Bridges & Ports Expansion for Cities: Skylines II

Bridges & Ports, the next expansion for Cities: Skylines II, sails onto PC and console on 29 October 2025—and it looks like a colourful, coastline-loving update that gives you plenty of new tools to shape your waterfront.

You’ll get 20 new drawbridges and lift bridges to keep traffic flowing while ships pass through, with styles that suit everything from busy train lines to pedestrian paths. Ports are now fully customisable too, so whether you’re building a quiet fishing dock or a bustling tourist hub, you can add storage yards, customs offices, and even maritime museums.

It also looks like you’ll be diving deeper into maritime industries, with options to place fish farms, oil rigs, pipelines, and tankers that bring fresh jobs and resources to your city. And with over 100 new assets, three scenic maps, and a batch of new achievements, there’s plenty to explore once you hit the shore.

Demo for Wholesome Puzzler A Storied Life: Tabitha

Secret Mode has just released a demo for A Storied Life: Tabitha, a cosy puzzle game that invites you to explore memory, legacy, and the quiet joy of discovery. Available now on Steam, the demo lets you play through the first two rooms of a picturesque country house in around 20 minutes.

An elderly loved one has died, leaving you their estate and a letter encouraging you to sell any valuables. But when a mishap spoils their soon-to-be-published memoirs, you set out to repair the damage, piecing together their hidden past using the items you inherit.

You’ll be sorting through their belongings, deciding what to keep, auction, or discard. Each item you save helps restore their damaged memoirs, unlocking words that shape the story you’ll tell. Expect gentle packing puzzles with limited space and weight, where bubble wrap and vacuum bags become your best friends.

It looks like a thoughtful, tactile experience where every decision—no matter how small—can change how a life is remembered.

In Temirana: The Lucky Princess and the Tragic Knights, you’re stepping into a vibrant fantasy world where birth months decide your fate. It looks like a colourful otome game with a dramatic edge, following a princess cast aside for a mysterious birthmark. Dubbed the “Cursed Princess,” she’s lived in isolation until a fateful duelling tournament changes everything.

As her birthday nears, she spots five radiant men whose glow hints at danger… or destiny. With a magical knack for sensing threats, she trusts her instincts and recruits them as knights. But not all are keen on swordplay, and tragedy looms. You’ll guide this unlikely band through emotional twists, romantic bonds, and a story that promises heart and hope.

Cozy Desktop City Builder Desktown

Desktown is a cozy desktop city builder from Indonesian dev team Deskteam. A demo is now available on Steam after starting life as a high school project. You’ll grow a charming little town that lives quietly in the corner of your screen, whether you’re working, gaming, or watching videos; it keeps ticking along.

It looks like a minimalist, interactive mini-planet that you can shrink down to stay focused, then expand into full view when you’re ready to dive back in. You’ll decorate your town, automate resources like Food and Knowledge, and even play word-guessing mini-games via satellites.

There’s more than just gameplay, too; handy widgets like Pomodoro timers and alarms help you stay productive while your town grows. The demo gives you two themed areas to explore, while the full version unlocks all five.

Mado Monogatari Coming to Steam too

Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy, currently available on Switch and PlayStation, will make its way to Steam in 2026.

James liked it when he played the Switch version, saying in conclusion:

“A pleasant, approachable dungeon crawler ideal for casual players or anyone curious about a quirky slice of gaming history that never left Japan, until now. It’s not flawless, and the repetition will be noticeable for some, but as a low-pressure, bite-sized RPG, it delivers a warm and whimsical adventure. One can’t help being drawn in by its positive energy.”

Accolades Trailer for Strange Antiquities

One month on from launch, Strange Antiquities has already made its mark, the reception on Steam has been overwhelmingly positive. Kalina reviewed the game for us, and also gave it a Two Thumbs Up.

The developers have been blown away by the glowing reviews, and all the streams that brought the game to life. It’s been a high-pressure ride, but the audience’s support made it unforgettable for them.

To say thanks, they’ve put together a brand-new accolades trailer featuring some of their favourite coverage, and they did a brilliant job at that. You can watch it here.
