Turnip Boy Robs a Bank Coming to Mobile
Plug In Digital, Graffiti Games, and Snoozy Kazoo have announced that the popular comedic action-adventure Turnip Boy Robs a Bank with roguelite elements will launch on mobile platforms early next year. Following up on Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, you’ll now help the chaotic Turnip Boy as he teams up with the Pickled Gang to pull off the most bizarre heist ever at the Botanical Bank.
Mina gave the game our highest rating, saying:
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is silly, weird, fun, and completely unexpected. I was floored when I dove into it. I was a little unsure of the direction the developers chose to take it at first, but it quickly grew on me. The music, the sound design, the upgrades… Everything about Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is fun. I am stoked that I got to play this action Roguelite early, and I cannot recommend it enough for those who like this type of game.

DLC for Calico
Cozy cat café sim Calico is getting a brand-new DLC, which is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this winter. The Neat Things DLC will introduce fresh quests, characters, mini-games, and adorable new animal companions to add to your café.
You’ll embark on a new scavenger hunt quest across the island, visit a new area called Mermaid’s Cove, and meet Nahla the Mermaid. Plus, you’ll befriend new animal companions like a raccoon, axolotl, golden retriever, and more. There will also be two new mini-games at the Cutie City arcade, aquatic-themed café decorations, and fun interactions to discover around the island, like playing in piles of leaves or making wishes on dandelions.

DLC for Factorio: Space Age
Factorio: Space Age takes your adventure beyond the stars, continuing your journey after launching rockets into space. Paula reviewed the base game and loved it, so this expansion is very welcome! This exciting expansion will allow you to explore new worlds, each with its own unique challenges and valuable resources to harness for advanced technology.
At the heart of this expansion are space platforms—flying factories that facilitate interplanetary transportation. You’ll need to build defences to protect them from incoming asteroids, which can be processed for fuel and ammunition. Use platform hubs and cargo bays to manage the movement of goods between planets, ensuring smooth planetary logistics as you expand your space empire. And the planets to discover all have new challenges! Space Age is already out on Steam.

New World for Coffee Caravan
Coffee Caravan is about to get a frosty update with the arrival of Ice Cream World on November 8th! This cool new update will introduce a refreshing new world filled with ice cream recipes, beautiful ice cream-themed décor, and a host of sweet-toothed customers. Plus, to celebrate, Coffee Caravan will be on sale at 25% off—perfect for anyone who hasn’t joined the cozy café fun yet.
The update will also bring new features like bulk item movement for faster caravan rearrangements and a reworked decoration system, giving your café an even better vibe. Two new languages, Korean and Russian, are being added too, welcoming even more players. And, good to know: Coffee Caravan is Steam Deck verified!

Luma Island Coming
One of our readers on our subReddit tried the demo for Luma Island on Steam and liked what she experienced. The good news, then, is that the game will be released on November 20th. In the game, you build your dream farm, master professions, collect magical Lumas, find treasures and unravel the mysteries of the island.
The graphics look great (our reader compared the town to a Thomas Kinkade painting), and Luma Island also has a “cozy” setting. So you will be able to play the game with some combat with scary spiders or you can turn that off. If you want to give it a try already, there’s a demo available.

Limited-Time Trial for Nintendo Switch Online Members
Nintendo Switch Online members in North America have a special treat coming their way! From October 23rd to October 30th, you’ll be able to try A Little to the Left, Cursed to Golf, and Vampire Survivors for free as part of a limited-time trial. This gives you a chance to check out these games and see if they’re a good fit before deciding to purchase.

Kickstarter for Which Way Up
Which Way Up: Galaxy Games is a cosmic party platformer planned for Nintendo Switch and Steam in Q1-2025. The Kickstarter has just launched, they have a goal of AUS$ 20,000, money that will be used to work on a multi-player online mode and a single player mode. Which Way Up: Galaxy Games takes the gravity-defying fun of Super Mario Galaxy and amps it up with 12 creative mini-games, known as Galaxy Games. You and your friends can compete across the stars, from knocking players out of orbit in Bumper Stars to scoring goals in Comet Collect. There’s even a race to escape a black hole in Event Horizon!
James tried the game at the start of this year and liked what he saw, even in that early build. He wrote:
Which Way Up: Galaxy Games comes across as a simple, to-the-point party experience that should provide plenty of cosmic smiles around the living room whether you win or lose. What stood out most to me is how accessible the game is for gamers of most skill levels. Which Way Up: Space Olympics looks to be an appealing game night game with family and loved ones.

Cozy Quest Steam Festival

Update Dubious Dunes for Into the Emberlands
Daedalic Entertainment and Tiny Roar are bringing a thrilling new update to Into the Emberlands with the launch of Dubious Dunes! This fresh addition to the cozy roguelike adds a mysterious desert biome that’s perfect for experienced players nearing the endgame. The Dubious Dunes is an unforgiving, sun-scorched expanse where ancient relics and enigmatic characters await those brave enough to explore.
Key new areas include the Lost Bunker, filled with treasures and curses, and the Junky Trunk, a hotspot for hidden secrets. Along the way, you’ll meet unique NPCs like the cautious Historian, the suspicious Reptiloneat, and the unexpectedly helpful Hagwash. Whether you’re hunting relics or trading with the quirky Trade Peddler, it sounds like a good addition to the game!

Halloween Content for REKA
Get ready for Halloween thrills in REKA! On October 28th, REKA launches “The Witching Hour,” a free, Halloween-themed content update that’s perfect for cozy autumn gaming. This update brings plenty of spooky additions, from ghostly decorations like floating candles and pumpkin bowls to a new village mystery in the woods. You’ll also have the chance to befriend a black cat and deck out your witchy character with fresh outfits and accessories, including a witch’s cape, dress, and even long, pointed nails.
Alongside this update, REKA will join the Steam Scream Event, where you can grab the game at a discount until November 4th. Kalina gave this game a Two Thumbs Up; here’s what she wrote in conclusion:
Reka has many winning factors to be such a particular game – the premise, the unique autumnal art style, the autumnal release window, the crafting, the magic, the lore. It’s a game that can quickly become your go-to cozy game for the coming cold months.

Gamer-in-Residence Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital
Now, this is a news snippet that really warmed our hearts: Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, along with partners Devolver Digital and Neonhive, has launched a great initiative: the UK and Ireland’s first full-time Gamer-in-Residence role. This unique position is dedicated to bringing gaming companionship and joy to young patients, giving every child at Scotland’s busiest children’s hospital a Player Two. Steven Mair, 26, will be the first to take on the role, helping kids find comfort, reduce isolation, and enjoy some fun moments during their hospital stay.

Autumn Update: The Garden Path
The Garden Path is embracing the cozy vibes of autumn with its latest update, bringing in a range of seasonal outfits, decorations, and even a brand-new hair dye feature. Dress your Gardener in fresh fall fashion, including a skeleton onesie for Halloween, cute dungarees, cozy sweaters, and a charming froggie pinafore. Hats and masks also join the wardrobe lineup, with choices like a Pumpkin Head, Witch’s Hat, and a Cat Mask to add some spooky charm.
If you’re ready to transform your garden for the season, look out for new decorative items like jack-o-lanterns, decorative gourds, and even creepy toy spiders. For an extra personal touch, you can now change your Gardener’s hair colour! The new hair dye mechanic lets you chat with Caoimhe, who can craft dyes using botanicals from your own garden, allowing you to create custom colours for a unique autumn look.
