Here we are again, with some facts and figures for LadiesGamers, looking back at 2025. The tradition of publishing these insights started years ago, and as a lover of statistics, it’s a pleasure to write these articles.
Join me and let’s take a look!
Traffic at the Site
In 2024, we talked about the dip in visitors after Google’s SEO changes, a bit of a bump in the road. This year, it’s been lovely to see our views rising again. But just like we said back then, we’ll keep running this little hobby site no matter what, simply because it brings us so much joy and positive energy, even without any income attached.
In 2025, we published 687 articles, more than the year before, when we had 585 and more than in 2023, with 551. Reviews, guides, our view on upcoming games each month, articles listing the best of, gaming news and editorials.
Amazingly, the articles that received the best views in 2025 by far were the reviews for Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile and the early impressions article for Len’s Island. We noticed that some articles, like these reviews, are picked up by the Google quick search box or by Google News, leading to astronomical views, but we have no idea why. So no means to influence it either, yet.
Like our writers, our readers are spread all over the world, with the United States taking up half of the views. This has been consistently the case; the United States is where our main audience is. The chart below lists only the most important countries.

Rating the Reviews
We reviewed and previewed 514 games this year (in 2024, it was 486, and in 2023, we reviewed 406 games). Once again, we got more opinions about games published. 120 games on Switch, 393 on Steam, and 1 on mobile. So, like last year, we reviewed much more on Steam than on Switch, but that also depends on what’s on offer and which gaming devices our writers have.
James was once again our most active reviewer, writing 185 of them. Kalina was in second place, writing 96 reviews, and Mina came third with 61.
As we always do, we scored fully released games in our rating system. We also make preview articles for demos and early access games (102 in 2025), but they don’t get a rating. Below, you can see how we rated the final releases. Like every year, we gave the verdict of “I Like it a Lot” most, but there were quite a few “Two Thumbs Up”, and “I Like It” too. Fortunately, not a lot of negative reviews.

Variety in Articles
Even though most views go to guides, reviews, and the Best of… lists, we try to make LadiesGamers’ content pleasing to our audience, especially those who are returning visitors and maybe even support us through our Patreon page.
We like publishing the kind of personal stories that we are known for. Like, for example, the articles we wrote about Christmas 2025 or the Summer Holidays. Or the series of YvoCaro Plays and Gaming Tales with…, a series where writers in our team took turns to write a more personal story about gaming. Most of the time, it is about video games, but sometimes it is about happenings in our lives, too.
Lastly, we also hosted several giveaways again, which publishers and developers kindly made possible.

Let Us Guide You

Though reviews are the main staple on Ladiesgamers, we have found that guides work exceptionally well in views. Writing takes much more time than a review, but it’s also very satisfying. In my opinion, you can’t write a guide if you don’t really love the game you are covering. It’s not always a full walkthrough; our guides are often tips to get you started in the game. Our readers love them too, so that’s very rewarding for us.

Over the years, the Farm Tycoon guide, made in 2022, still does exceptionally well, though it has gone down in our top 10. Others keep doing well, too, like the guides for Lucy Dreaming and Botany Manor. But there are a couple that were made in 2025 that still managed to land in the top 10! I bet they will rack up a lot of views over the years to come.
Of course, there are a lot of other guides on the site, and though they might not all get constant attention, I’m sure readers find them very useful.
