Cat and Ghostly Road – March 6th

One day the artist saved a cat that was in trouble, and they began to live together. There were no signs of trouble until one day an evil spirit attacked the artist. After this, the artist became seriously ill and now the wise white cat must help his friend and save him from death.
To do this, you have to go on a dangerous journey into the world of ghosts and demons. Not all things here are what they seem: to see their true form, you need to have a special cat’s vision.
It will be a difficult path, but not a single demon can stop you!
James reviewed Cat and Ghostly Road, and wrote this in his conclusion:
Cat and Ghostly Road is a beautiful looking point-and-click that’s short and keeps its challenge in the mild setting. It doesn’t reinvent the formula, making it feel much more appealing to casual players looking for a straightforward game to enjoy over a few nights of playing.
Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley – March 7th

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a story-rich musical adventure game about Snufkin restoring the valley and helping the quirky and memorable characters and critters who call it home. A series of hideous parks have cropped up in Moominvalley, disrupting the landscape and its harmonious nature. Experience a beautifully crafted and quintessentially Nordic game, brought to life with stories, emotions, and a melancholic atmosphere set in Tove Jansson’s vivid and beloved world of Moomin. You are invited to a wholesome experience for every age that combines open-world mechanics with puzzles, stealth, and melodic elements!
Paula reviewed Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley and said this in her conclusion;
Overall, Snufkin Melody of Moominvalley offers a delightful and immersive journey tailor-made for fans of Moomin and anyone in search of a distinct gaming adventure. Although I did encounter a bug that halted my progress, it doesn’t overshadow the charm and creativity that Hyper Games has infused into this delightful exploration of Snufkin Melody of Moominvalley.
Garden Life: a Cozy Simulator – March 14th

In this game, players step into the shoes of a steward tasked with revitalizing a community garden in a quaint, secluded village. They’ll be greeted by Jasmine, a flower-loving local photographer, among other vibrant characters throughout their journey.
Players will fulfil various requests from villagers to earn Florins, the in-game currency, allowing them to expand the garden, buy new tools and decorations from Leslie’s store in the village square, and unlock structures like the pavilion, which displays flower sculptures representing the villagers.
Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is designed for both seasoned gardeners and beginners, offering a laid-back gardening experience where players can work at their own pace, collaborate with villagers, and unleash their creativity to rejuvenate the garden. Be aware, though, that the game is from a first-person perspective.
Mina put on her gardeners’ gloves, and wrote this in her review:
I have a lot of mixed feelings here. As I said before, I like the vibe. Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator has a lot of great things going for it, like the music, the look, the movement, most of the sound design, and the freedom the game gives you. But there are a lot of downsides keeping me from making up my mind. The items are cute, but if you try to do too much at once, your game freezes. I adore the aesthetic, but I really hated the inventory system.

Margaret reviewed the game, and gave it our highest, Two Thumbs Up, saying:
I admit I’m an old-school gamer, and this is my kind of thing. I grew up on obstinate, mapless, pain-in-the-rear dungeon crawlers. If you’re like me, this is a special treat, a game that’s both different than anything else currently on the Switch and familiar to those of us who grew up with graph paper and clue books you had to mail away for. That’s why I’m rating this game so highly, as I’m the exact audience this game is seeking!
Sunny Café – March 27th

On a summer afternoon, the thundershowers fall mercilessly and the bells in the café ring. A boy regains his senses, suddenly noticing a soaked girl standing at the door. Sunny Café is a tale of accidental encounters, acquaintances and eventual parting, a love text adventure game that uses Taiwanese coffee knowledge as a catalyst for this cycle of interactions and an analogy for life itself.
Join a cast of Taiwanese college students and enjoy a visual novel steeped in local culture, customs and ideals. Learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee by selecting beans, grinding, choosing a filter and brewing skillfully. Select objects in the café to pick up vital bits of additional knowledge. Explore multiple endings affected by your conversations with people in a comfy setting, and perhaps guide a budding romance to full bloom!
I reviewed the game myself and gave it an I Like It, saying in conclusion:
Sunny Cafe is a sweet story of young love, touching on some deeper topics that mirror the way adolescents view life’s goals. It strives to include knowledge about making coffee in a very charming and graphically beautiful way. I would have liked this part to get more attention, combining the visual novel part with a management part for serving the customers the right coffee.
