Release Date and New Demo for Unpetrified
Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature is shaping up to be a heartwarming adventure you won’t want to miss. Launching on Steam this 11 November 2025, it looks like a cosy, nature-filled journey where you’ll explore as a gentle stone Golem, joined by your loyal companion, a curious little Fox.
The latest gameplay trailer gives you a deeper look into the world: expect to solve environmental puzzles, reunite adorable animals with their families, and uncover secrets from a long-lost civilisation. It’s all wrapped in a narrative-driven experience that leans into emotional storytelling and quiet wonder.
You can already dip your toes in with the updated Steam demo, which now lets you roam the Cave of Awakening and the lush Verdant Forest. And don’t forget to check out our interview with the developers behind Unpetrified: Echoes of Nature.

Patch for Tales of the Shire on Consoles
Even though I know Tales of the Shire was in no way a smooth walk in the park, I still enjoy playing it very much, as you can read in my review.
Still, it was time for a solution for all the players who had been affected by various bugs. Well, it’s here: a new patch is out for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with fixes including:
– Save file stability on Switch
– Spinach seeds on Switch
– Waking up under your home
– Stuttering and crashing
There’s much more that has been solved, though, as you can read in the patch notes for version v1.0.1.0 here: Patch Notes Consoles and Steam

Physical Release Mail Time
Mail Time is getting the physical treatment, and you won’t have to wait long. Super Rare Games is teaming up with developer Kela van der Deijl and publisher indie.io to launch the game on cartridge this Friday, 12 September, a rare shift from their usual Thursday drop, just to mark the occasion. You can find more info in the Super Rare Store.
You’ll step into Grumblewood Grove, a cosy little world that looks like it’s been stitched together from storybook pages. As a newly minted Mail Scout, you’ll be trotting through colourful forests and blooming meadows, delivering post to 15 delightfully oddball characters. It looks like a gentle, feel-good adventure with a splash of charm in every corner.
Most of the quests in Mail Time involve delivering letters between different residents. After all, you are a Mail Scout (in training)! However, there are a few requests that require collecting items. This guide will help you track them down.

The Cat Awareness Feline Sale 2025
If you’re a cat lover with a soft spot for cosy games, DEVCATS has something special lined up for you on Steam. The Cat Awareness Feline Sale 2025 takes place from September 8th to 18th and isn’t just about great discounts. It’s also about raising awareness for our feline friends and for the possibility of adoption through the games featured in the event. That’s exactly what DEVCATS, the organiser of this third-party Steam sale, had in mind:
“All year long, cats around the world need help and adoption, so my role as founder of Devcats is to ensure that, in addition to our educational games, every year there will always be a Cat Awareness Sale so that this mission continues and we can build a better world for all felines. That is my legacy.”
Even if you can’t or don’t want a pet at home, you can still enjoy the charm of these whiskered companions through dozens of cat-themed titles. With discounts of up to 90%, it’s the perfect chance to expand your library without stretching your budget.

Sorcery Pack for Planet Coaster 2
Planet Coaster 2 is about to get a magical makeover, and if you’re into theme park wizardry, the Sorcery Pack might be just the spell you’ve been waiting for.
You’ll be able to conjure up gothic spires, glowing sigils, and a whole trove of fantasy-themed scenery to give your park a proper enchanted vibe. It looks like a colourful game with a playful twist, especially with Vesper, the new Entertainer, bringing a touch of theatrical flair to your guests.
Ride-wise, you’re getting a mix of high-speed thrills and family-friendly fun. Expect quick-switch tracks, swing launches, and pendulum-style flat rides that look like they’ll keep your visitors buzzing.
There’s also a free update landing alongside the pack, adding Challenge Mode, better pathing tools, and a few handy tweaks to make building smoother.
Mark your calendar: the Sorcery Pack launches on 16th September across all platforms, priced at $ 12.99/ £9.99/ € 12,99.

Shops of Shibuya and Map Pack 4 Coming to Cities: Skylines
The Shops of Shibuya Content Creator Pack launches on 24 September 2025 across PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and it looks like a vibrant addition to the original Cities: Skylines.
You’ll be able to recreate the sleek storefronts, neon-lit boulevards, and tucked-away alleys of Shibuya, thanks to community creator ‘Stop it D.’ The pack features a mix of low and high-density commercial buildings, unique structures, and parks that capture the pulse of Japan’s fashion-forward shopping scene.

Mars First Logistics Goes to 1.0 Update
If you’ve been waiting for a reason to fire up your Martian rover again, Mars First Logistics looks like it’s about to deliver in a big way. After two years of steady updates and glowing reviews (over 1,000 with a 96% positive rating), this physics-based, open-world sim is rolling out its 1.0 update on 26 September 2025, and it’s packed with fresh content.
You’ll be exploring a brand-new zone featuring the Space Elevator and Phobos, Mars’ moon, with 10 new end-game contracts that combine everything you’ve learned so far. It also introduces a programming system with logic gates and sensors, letting you build smarter, more responsive rovers. New parts like gimbals, levitating actuators, and gravity suppressors look set to shake up your designs, while added languages, music, cosmetics, and mechanics round out the update.
If you’re new to Mars First Logistics, it looks like a tactile and inventive experience where you build rovers from over 100 parts to transport awkward cargo across procedurally generated Martian terrain. Whether you’re hauling fragile domes or slippery space tofu, every delivery is a puzzle—and you can tackle it solo or with friends in online co-op. Even when James played it in the very early stages, he liked it as you can read here!

Release Date for Easy Delivery Co.
Easy Delivery Co. is gearing up for launch on 18 September. Available on Steam and fully Steam Deck Verified, it looks like a colourful, chilled-out delivery sim with a frosty edge.
You’ll be stepping into the boots of a lone driver navigating a once-bustling mountain town now wrapped in strange weather. Expect to juggle fuel, energy, and body temperature as you ferry odd packages through snowy peaks, fishing villages, and winding mountain roads.
The game’s got a few clever touches since Early Access: truck upgrades like snow tyres and ice chains, coffee breaks to stay warm, and even ice fishing to keep your belly full. The soundtrack leans into drum & bass, jungle, and lo-fi—perfect for keeping your wheels turning.
With over 150,000 wishlists and a 97% positive demo rating, Easy Delivery Co. looks like a quirky, atmospheric ride with plenty of secrets to uncover and achievements to chase. You’ll want to pack your thermals!
