It’s time for more gaming news to finish off the weekend. Bandai Namco is bringing Digimon Story to the Nintendo Switch. Aksys is bringing three ports of Otome Visual novels to the Switch, as well as two new games. Kickstarter campaign The Adventures of Breadman has been cancelled. Plus, if you want some extra goodies, don’t forget to pre-order Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth coming to the Switch

Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition will be coming to the Nintendo Switch platform here in the west on the 18th of October. The Complete Edition contains both Cyber Sleuth and Hacker’s Memory.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth was my first acquaintance with a Digimon game, and I loved every minute of it! My review for Cyber Sleuth is here My review for Cyber Sleuth is here. Plus, the package also contains successor Hacker’s Memory.

The Switch turning into Otome Heaven

At its Anime Expo 2019 panel, Aksys revealed multiple Nintendo Switch otome game ports and two new ones. Three familiar games will be available on the console. Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth will arrive first in December 2019. It was my first experience with an Otome game, and it was a good experience. My review for the game is here. Guardian of Rebirth will be accompanied by Code Realize ~Future Blessings~, the first fandisc will come in 2020. In addition, Collar x Malice will come to the Nintendo Switch in 2020. And then, Collar x Malice Unlimited will arrive in 2020. Added to these fan favorites , 2020 also sees two new games: Cafe Enchante and Piofiore no Banshou.

Kickstarter The Adventures of Breadman cancelled their campaign

The development team behind Kickstarter Campaign The Adventures of Breadman cancelled their campaign midway. We featured the game on the site, but it’s not meant to be at the moment (article here).

This is the message they sent to backers:

“Our team decided to cancel the Kickstarter campaign. The support and messages we got from everyone is awesome and we greatly appreciate it. It’s not the end of breadman
Development on the game will be continued and were currently in the process expanding our team. We may relaunch on Kickstarter in the future with better rewards like physical copies and much much more!
Were going to keep working and were going to keep you up to date here and on our Twitter and Facebook pages.
Thank you all so much!”
