Let’s meet Kishou

Time to add another writer to our expanding team! Charles, who will use the writer name Kishou, is a 28-year old guy passionate on all things gaming and literature.

I’ll let him introduce himself here!

”Hey everyone, nice to “meet”  you here on LadiesGamers! I have a mild case of Asperger’s Syndrome, so right away growing up was very different and difficult for me in the early years. I was the fourth of five kids, and nearly all of us had an interest in video games save for one older sister.

We had practically every system that was selling and popular for a time, from Xbox to Dreamcast, so I like to think I played a good number of exclusives.

My interests all vary from game to game. Some of my favorites are Pokémon Ruby version, Final Fantasy Tactics, Dragon Quest VIII, Tokyo Xanadu eX+, Arc Rise Fantasia, Persona 4, 428 Shibuya Scramble, Digimon World Next Order, Gravity Rush 2, Skies of Arcadia, and Wild Arms 3. Granted I have so many others than just those I listed, but we’d be here all day if I listed them, hehe.

Generally, I like JRPGs, but also visual novels, strategy, platformers, racing, and fighting games. I don’t share much of an interest in shooter games, especially with all the predatory microtransactions going on with them. My current own systems are PS2, Wii, PS3, 3DS, PS Vita, PS4 and a high-powered OMEN gaming pc for those computer games on Steam and GOG.

Aside from gaming, my main passion is creative writing. I love fantasy stories with adventure and romance, and dream of creating my own stories and novels. My only weakness is my habit of procrastinating and playing video games when I should be reading or writing. Hopefully this won’t cause a conflict of interest here!”

Welcome, Kishou!

    1. Thanks, Alicia. I’ve done a bit of reviewing before so it feels nice to get back on the saddle and talk about good old gaming on a place that likes to enjoy the finer/funner things in life. Can’t wait to share my experiences here.
