Weekly Wrap Up

Come on in my friend, and get yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea! Time to look back and wrap up of everything that happened on the site this past week, running from October 1st until October 7.

The Wrap Up highlights what happened on LadiesGamers.com this week. If you are pressed for time during the week, you will find everything you need to know in this weekly Wrap Up!

This weeks reviews:

These three reviews have been published this week.

Planet Alpha

Paige also tested the Labo Vehicle Kit together with her little sister, and published her thoughts here.

Featured series

It was high time for another instalment of YvoCaro plays. With all the games I’m playing to make reviews out of, I’d almost forget to put my unedited thoughts to paper. Not that they are much different from the well thought about wording of the games I reviewed.

But my mind sometimes takes some unexpected turns. Some game related, some not really! I shared my first thoughts on Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story, and have played a bit more since. Not bad, not bad at all! But I’ll get back to that later. I’ve made no secret that I really liked One Hour One Life on mobile, but it had its strange moments too. All the do with playing online with other people! Here’s the article: YvoCaro plays: Lost Wallets and Unwanted Boys

Evriun once again published an article in The Soundtracks we Love, about Luigi’s Mansion.  Let’s make it nice and spooky. I’d say What Else, leading up to Halloween!

If you want to read about the soundtracks Evriun covered in the past weeks, here is the collection.

Luigi's Mansion

Jonah published his fourth edition of Pick ‘n’ Mix Games, where he puts together a Pick ‘n’ Mix list for video games which are both fun and designed to be played in short bursts. Plus, they are little gems on a budget for the various handheld devices. Here is the fourth bag of sweets! with Nefarious on Switch, Professor Layton and the Curious Village on Mobile, Chameleon Run on Switch and Mobile, Reflect Missile/Trajectile on DSi/3DS and I added a favourite of mine, Innocent Life: a Futuristic Harvest Moon on PS Vita.
All games under $15, some even way under!

Published YouTube videos

With all activity on the site and reviewing games, it’s not always easy to pay attention to everything: our YouTube channel didn’t get much love lately! To remedy that, and to get in the mood of streaming, I put up some clips this week, the intro for Valthirian Arc as seen above, and the first test case of A Case of Distrust.

I added some spoken text too, but as they are my first, it is a bit scary, lol
