Come on in my friend, and get yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea. Time to look back and wrap up of everything that happened on the site this past week, running from July 8st until July 14th 2019.
The weekly news highlights what happened on LadiesGamers.com this past week. If you are pressed for time during the week (aren’t we all, these days? ) you will find everything you need to know in this weekly wrap up!
This past week’s reviews:
Review Irony Curtain (Switch)
Irony Curtain, heavily based on satire, provides that satisfying feeling you get through solving puzzles and exploring your surroundings. Our Ben follows Evan, a dimwitted but well meaning activist is fascinated by the communist state of Matryoshka and is keen to convince the world of their seemingly perfect set of ideals.

Review Wizards Unite (Mobile)
Is mobile game Wizards Unite is just not inspiring the same level of ongoing enchantment as Pokemon Go did when it was first released? CJ gets her wand out and follows in Harry’s footsteps.

Featured Series/ Editorials
Kickstarter Orange Island
Orange Island is the name of an upcoming platforming video game made in an 8-bit style. It is being funded via Kickstarter to fund the PC and Mac development. It already reached its initial funding goal, and the NES homebrew port! One of the stretch goals is for a Nintendo Switch port if they reach £ 49,000.

Big news from Nintendo: the Switch Lite
Finally after months of rumors, Nintendo has just presented the Switch Lite. A device that can only be used in handheld mode, looks ever so cool and might be just what a handheld gamer needs! Paige captures all the news in this article: Nintendo Switch Lite – Releasing September 20th!

Graveyard Keeper DLC is a must
Graveyard Keeper has DLC available that allows you to make Zombies: Breaking Dead. For a price of € 4,99 it’s a great addition to the game, I’d even say it’s essential to fully enjoy the game with less stress. Create your Zombie army of workers! Here’s how to do it:

YvoCaro Plays
In the series YvoCaro Plays (find my unedited gaming thoughts here) I tend to ramble on about my gaming adventures. This week it’s about the luxury feeling of having an abundance of sim games to play on my Switch. And how Graveyard Keeper hasn’t exactly gotten the concept of chests for storage right.
