This past week’s reviews

Review Slay the Spire (Switch)

Pikodoodle takes a look at Slay the Spire: a fantastic deck-building card game. Though roguelike, it offers plenty of creative freedom and balance between luck and player skill. She gives it our maximum score of Two Thumbs Up, so check out her review!

Review Agent A: a Puzzle in Disguise (Switch)

ChamZen got to grips with Agent A: a Puzzle in Disguise. This is a puzzle game on Switch that is challenging without being hair pulling frustrating. Add some lovely retro visuals and light humour and you have a nice puzzler.

Review River City Girls (Switch)

What does it tell you when someone reviews a game, and then even buys the physical game after that? That Paige likes it a lot!

We are very happy to welcome a new writer in our midst. Ahromer is a Canadian lady, who isn’t exactly new to writing about games. Her unique style, and her love for Otome games, makes her a good addition to our team!

Nintendo Direct – September 2019

This time, the Nintendo Direct aired at a time that was awful for us here in Europe, but great for Paige in Australia. She wrapped it all up in a nice package. Check out all the news Nintendo brought us, and don’t forget to look for Tom Nook’s getaway promotional video.

YvoCaro Plays: Fire Emblem Combines Story with Tactics

The first Fire Emblem I ever played was Awakening, and I stumbled on that game purely by chance. The series has evolved a lot since then, time to get my first impressions for Three Houses.

DaemonXMachina Prologue Demo Impressions (Nintendo Switch)

Paige takes a look at the prologue demo of DaemonXMachina. The full game will release on the 13th of September exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. See what info Paige has gleaned up till now.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is such a huge game, it really needs a good guide. In our series of mini guides, here’s our mini guide for Rooms and Sets.
